10 weeks pp still bleeding :-/

do you think i ought to see the GP :-/ its not heavy bleeding but still going sometimes its old blood sometimes frsh :-/

I bled for about 9 and a half weeks hun. Did you have to have an episiotomy are anything? Maybe it is just taking time to heal and whenever you disturb it that is when you are seeing the fresh blood? You could mention it to your dr tho if you are worried about it?

no i didnt have episiotomy i didnt tear either :-/

I bled for about 5 weeks. I think everyone is different though. If it's worrying you I would speak to your doctor just to give you peace of mind.

I bled the longest with my youngest 10weeks for me too had a section.

I still bleed.. however its like 2 weeks nothing then for one week I will spot no idea if its a light period or not

I bled for 13 weeks. Thought it was never going to end! Did eventually though!

This makes me feel better. I am just over 7 weeks pp and still bleeding just like you describe - sometimes it goes lighter, then darker again. I have my 8 week post natal check on Friday so will ask then.
