10th month ttc after salpingectomy

Well, it's been one year since I found out I was pregnant. I lost my baby due to ectopic on sept 1st 2013. My fiancé and I have been trying since I got my first period after salpingectomy in October. It's been 10 months and nothing. We got pregnant the third month trying the first time. My OBGYN is "confident" I'll be preggers before November. How long did it take you ladies to conceive after losing a tube. I could use some hope...

I also had a salpingectomy due to a ruptured ectopic last year and a miscarriage so a different order to you but same horrible ordeal. It took us 5 months to get pregnant the first time. After both the miscarriage and the ectopic it took a while for my period to come back but with one tube it took one cycle the first time (which ended in mmc) and two cycles the second time. I'm now nearly 38 weeks and got everything crossed my rainbow is going to arrive soon.

Keep the faith - it will happen.

We went all guns blazing - temp taking, opk taking and me tucking my knees up to my chest for an hour after dtd. It definitely took the romance out but it worked.

Good luck and try not to get too despondent - this could be your month. I've got my fingers crossed for you. x

Hi peaches.....i'm in the same boat....lost my left tube in Feb and have been TTC ever since...not 10 months but we're at 6 months now and still nothing.

I'm 37 next month which i think is doing me no favours either

Have you been temping/opk'ing etc? Do you know if you're ovulating?

Got my fingers x'd for us both!

PS i got a STRONG positive OPK this morning but husband is away for 3 days...ggrrrrrr!
