11 weeks and having funny twinges/pains

Hello ladies, I think i am just looking for a bit of reassurance really. I'm sure its nothing to worry about but just in the last half hour or so i've been having some funny twinges and pains in my lower central abdomen.

Does anybody know if this is OK? Has anyone experienced this at 11 weeks?

ive been having on and off sharp cramps every few days. im hoping its just growing and stretching pains. id be more worried if there was blood.

I started having the same pains. They're kind of around my ovaries or down in my uterus. I'm thinking its just a growing or stretching pain, since they kind of feel like they did when i first found out i was pregnant around 5 weeks. From what ive read, pains are okay as long as they aren't excruciating or accompanied by blood.

I've had these pains off and on, and even some pretty severe AF cramps that were waking me up at night right when I turned 11 weeks. It's likely that the twinges are round ligament stretching. I called my doctor about the severe cramping, and she said as long as there was no bleeding or spotting, they don't get concerned. She said some women are just lucky and get no cramps at all, and some get severe cramping all the way through. It varies from woman to woman, but she said not to worry if there's no spotting!

I've been getting this too and actually just came back from our midwife walk in clinic! It seemed the cramps had went away and since they came back I got quite worried.

She examined me and listend to baby's hb and everything was good, she thinks these sharp twinges/ pains are an ovary hurting, or growing pains as the uterus gets bigger. She felt my uterus and it's now over the pelvic bone, so it's moved a lot and that could be causing the pain.

It seems like a lot of us are getting these right around 11/12 weeks so it must be a normal.....maybe a growth spurt!
