11 weeks and spotting and cramping any advice please

hi i'm 11 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing cramps and spotting since last night feels just like i'm starting my period
left two msgs for midwife not heard back yet i dont know what to do???am i panicing too much???please any advice ladies xxxxxx

So sorry you are scared - There is a normal amount of spotting and cramping that comes with pregnancy as our bodies change and uteruses grow so it could still fall under that category. Is your cramping very painful or just twinges here and there? Is your cramping non-stop or sporadic? What color is the spotting? Brown? Pink? Red? Answering these questions will help you understand better what is going on.

Try not to worry hun as spotting can be very normal. Is your blood brown? Is so then its nothing to worry about. If its red and you have strong pains though I would go to your Local Early pregnancy unit at the hospital or even to A&E where they will refer you x

I've got non stop cramping as if i were about to start my period,last night i was getting sharp pains to one side too and the blood was pink & red,today its more brown?
My midwife has rang and cant get me in for a scan earlier than my 12wk scan already arranged for mon,unless cramps or bleeding gets worse then i have to ring my gp to get me put in for rushed scan?
My DH wants me to ring gp to get scan sooner rather than later,I'm unsure as wouldnt want to make a big fuss,tho monday seems a long time away?xxx

If it were me I would try to get in for a rush scan...the fact that the cramps have been nonstop and there was some red mixed in with the blood. It's better for your peace of mind...otherwise the weekend could be interminable. Could you go to the ER to get it done (I know in the USA it's super expensive to do it that way but in the UK maybe it's more reasonable?)? Good luck hon and praying for you and a sticky bean.

i had cramping too, although no spotting, but was still concerned, i went to A&E and was sent for an early scan.

went to see my gp he couldnt get thru to hospital so waiting til tomorrow for phonecall to c if they can fit me in for a scan before monday
my dh and mil think i shud just go to a&e in mornin....I really dont know what to do
I dont want to seem like a drama queen but this isnt right
scared and confused

hi jx6 been reading and didnt want to run, im hoping everything goes ok for you if it helps i had really bad bleeding (red blood) through my last pg with my daughter also was passing blood clots. @17wks was dianogised with a cervical polyp, also had big bleeds 24+27 wks toliet was full of red blood sorry tmi, so it is really common. i hope ur scan goes well and u seen ur little bean and a lovely strong hb.

Thanx hun you dont realise how many people are affected by this,i'm so sorry for ur loss
cramping has eased a little but been getting few funny pains and twinges,more blood loss now not just spotting and have had a few small clots.Yeah dh is taking me thankfully dont think I could do it alone.
