OPK is basically positive this afternoon, Premom told me it was a T/C line ratio of 0.84 but I’m considering it visually positive. That puts us at O-2 timing with a full deposit BD. Of course right after we said we can’t try for at least a year, my body throws in a super late ovulation to trick me

I’ve had a lot of months where my urine progesterone levels have been either really up and down or generally low, so I want to get a blood test to see a more accurate picture. If I don’t end up being pregnant, and it’s low, I’ll have more information for the future.

I think I ovulated today, we managed to get O-1 and O-4 if so, hopefully that's good enough, it was hard because we are hosting family for the holidays

@autumnal O-1 is fantastic! It’s the day with the highest chances, 42% I believe.

My temp went nuts last night, which I’m thrilled about. Urine progesterone dropped a little bit, but still above 10. My only major complaint right now is that I’m still spotting after bowel movements, and it turned pink/light red. Very light and watery, but I’m not thrilled about the switch to fresher blood.

Re: the dog, she had a very peaceful passing. When we saw her, we immediately knew it was the right choice. She looked exhausted and gaunt and stressed, it was like the light had been sucked out of her. But she was awake and enjoyed being cuddled so DH got to say goodbye and give lots of pets. His brother is several hours away and called to talk to the dog over the phone. Heartbreaking, really. But she was ready.

Oh goodness that is going to make me cry!! Ugh this reminds me of when we were in California for my BIL’s wedding, and we were hanging out in a hotel room with one of my SIL’s and her husband. Their dog (back in Virginia) had a medical emergency and had to be pit down immediately, and for whatever reason I was in the room (I can’t remember why). Hearing them say goodbye to their dog over the phone, and both crying so much, was TOUGH. Oh it was so emotional and sad! And then they agreed no one was to tell the brother getting married until after the wedding so they were struggling to keep a happy face on in front of family. So, so sad!

Anyway I am glad it was a peaceful passing and the best choice. Nothing worse than second guessing your decision (been there, even though it was definitely the right thing to do but still feels like “maybe there was something….?”)

Good luck on the bloodwork, but more importantly testing again. The bleeding is concerning though :/ I wonder if you can take a progesterone supplement in your LP to see if it helps with the pre-period spotting?

Afm had a horrid night of “sleep”…sooooo uncomfortable and over being pregnant.

Yeah that’s why I’m getting my progesterone tested, because if it’s not actually low then the spotting isn’t a big deal and doesn’t really mean anything. If it’s low, then yeah, I should take some kind of progesterone support.

I’ve been in (probably) false labor since last night…contracting literally all day today. It’s making me realize that I still have many a thing to do around here, like grocery shop for one (we are at the end of our shopping week)….and milk pick up is tomorrow so not sure how that will work, but I guess we’ll figure it all out. Then just some general cleaning/decluttering.

I’m really nervous that I’ll go into labor this weekend while my mom is out of town and my MIL won’t answer her phone I think I may request a cervical check at my appointment this Friday just to see if all these contractions are actually doing something.

Ah geez that’s frustrating Gigs. I hope everything works out okay.

BFN today at 8-9dpo, but I was expecting that. My temp also dropped right back down, so not sure if it was environmental due to being at my in-laws house that night, idk. But my progesterone jumped to 15, which is quite satisfying. I’m still only having the light spotting after a bowel movement, nothing on my underwear, just when I wipe. A tiny bit of pink this morning after straining briefly, but after a large BM just now I only had super faint tan sorry to tell you guys about my pooping schedule lmaooo

Thanks Autumnal! I appreciate the good wishes. I am happy to be cresting over from "omg no...not ready" to "ok, bring it on, this is fine." I think what helps is after a very contraction-active day and night yesterday, last night I actually got a solid 5 hours of sleep straight which I honestly don't know when the last time that happened was. Typically I've been up at least every 2 hours to pee! I feel renewed today and just ready for all the things.

I think I'll get on hubby about setting up the bassinet today. I have a sleeper/rocker set up, and also a dock-a-tot, so at least I have place to put baby down but I really want the bed up. And we still haven't assessed the crib....I'm not sure if ours is functional. I think there's a crack in it, but hubby says it's ok...either way, I think we don't have a mattress for it. I'm not sure what happened to that since we definitely talked about keeping it "just in case", but maybe we got rid of it when we decided we were done...?? No idea.

Anyway.

Shae sounds good so far -- hope that temp spikes tomorrow. Would that make it triphasic? I have always been super shaky on chart reading. Personally 8dpo is the earliest I've seen a line (with baby 3), 9 dpo was with my m/c and my second kid, and 10 with my first kid (all on frer). I can't speak for this one because I can't say for certain when I ovulated, but best guess is the evening of 9dpo for a super faint line. So yeah you're definitely still in it! Personally I don't "call it" until 10dpo but I think maybe 11 is a more realistic day to say one way or the other for certain (but only if you are actually charting and certain of O day).

Gigs I’m glad you got some extra sleep! Getting up every 2 hours to pee sounds miserable. Probably time for the bassinet with all these contractions!

I think it’s only triphasic if it hold steady at a higher temp, so currently no. I’m honestly not gonna count myself out until AF, I’ve seen so many 12-13dpo first positives. Especially since I don’t know my body’s patterns yet with implantation. I got my progesterone blood test back today:

A level >10 means healthy progesterone production from the corpus luteum and plenty of progesterone for implantation. So clearly my corpus luteum is doing its job, at least this cycle. It also means that my spotting isn’t related to low progesterone or AF being on the way. Honestly I might just spot during the luteal phase due to increased vascularity of the cervix and uterus due to progesterone, some people are just more prone to it.

Glad the progesterone is good.. 8 dpo is so early there's definitely still hope. I start losing hope after 12dpo haha.

Yeah I think if I was BFN at 12dpo I’d probably also think I was almost certainly out. I’ve seen people who weren’t, but most people are positive by then.
