Hi all, thought id share this with you, today when the mail came, there was a letter for my 11 yr old son, couldnt believe it was from Provident offering him a £500 loan, just sign and return and the money will be with you instantly, i remember seeing something about this on watchdog but never thought for one minute my child would get one, so i rang Provident telling them i am not happy, i have never in my life had a loan from them, i dont know how they got his details, they tried to blame another company saying they just get names and addresses sent to them from a credit place, but they said they will remove him from their list, only thing iv done is open an account for him with HSBC for his savings, think i will inform watchdog about this, still happening, curious though if it was signed and sent back would he have recieved the loan?
