12 dpo! hpt 25 hcg levels?

I am currently 12 dpo have had 3 bfn the last three days. I am using the hpt test strips from amazon, they check for a 25 hcg levels... when would my test be pos if i am pregnant. I know they are not consider early detection tests but how long does it take for my body to produce 25 hcg?

I'm in the same boat! I've read online some ladies getting theirs around 15 DPO...others get theirs around 10 DPO. I'm hoping to get a clear positive here soon!! Good luck to you

It totally varies pregnancy to pregnancy- it depends on when LO implanted. HCG doubles roughly every 48 hrs. I got a very very faint bfp on a 25 miu tesco hpt at 8dpo, i used a frer the next morning and got a v clear bfp, then used another 25 miu one that eve and got a darker line. But i had implantation bleeding at 7 dpo, so obv my LO implanted early.

Other ladies on here havent got bfps on 25 mius til like 16 dpo, that's the latest i can remember reading. But the average day for a bfp according to fertility friend is 14 dpo. But those ICs take a while to get dark iv read.

I found frers the best for early testing personally. GL!! XX

Well the average hcg level at 14 dpo is supposedly around 50 and since it is suppossed to double every 48 hours that would mean that you should be able to get a positive around 12 dpo. When I was pregnant with my daughter my hcg was 183 at 15 dpo, which would have meant it should have been about 90 at 13 dpo and 45 at 11 dpo.

However as others have said, there is a great deal of what actually happens. One pregnancy implants at 6 dpo and another at 10 or 11 dpo, so obvious the level of hcg would be very different at 12 dpo for those two pregnancies.

Some women get +++ at 8 or 9 dpo on the early tests. Technically a test that reads 25 is considered an early detection test but the quality and reliabilty seems to really vary. Even though FRER has picked up very low levels, some say as low at 6 or 7, most early results test say that they detect levels of 25.

As they say, it's not over until the shows.

Thank you..it def gives me hope, we have been trying for over 8 months. I am currently taking estrogen the first half of my cycle and prometrium (progesterone) the second half. And for the first time i had all symptoms that i ovulated including the (tmi) very stretchy ewcm.
