12 weeks scan gender? massive belly at 16weeks!

Hey mummies!

So i had my NT scan a few weeks back, i was 12+4 at the time and had to have an internal. Anyway straight away we saw 'something' during the scan the sonographer (same guy as #3) asks if we wanted to know the sex and we said yes. He said we was fairly certain it was a boy. So my question is did anyone have an accurate sonographer guess at their 12/13wk scan??

Im now 16+3 and looking so so pregnant!! This is how big i looked at about 23weeks with my last baby!! Anyone else freaking out about belly size??

No experience with gender at that early a stage but some sonographers are really good at telling. You'll just have to wait and see!

I feel massive this time too, a bit of a bump but mostly feel like a fat nap. Lol

My doctor was not able to tell the gender at my 12 week appointment 2 weeks ago. We find out on August 4th
I've heard the more pregnancies you experience, the bigger you get sooner. My sister is about 6 months, and is showing more earlier than she did with #1.

Thats the thing, ive actually been smaller with each pregnancy but babies are getting bigger. I was hoping to keep it to myself a bit more but its pretty well obvious now lol.

Ive never had a gender prediction at 12weeks either and never asked before i think it was only because it was an internal and it was the first thing we saw so it was hard to ignore. My next scan is on the 22nd july and ill be 20+3 by then so hopefully we get a good clear shot. Our kids have been guessing boy since we told them i was pregnant.

Yep iwe found out at our 13w4d nt scan it was pretty obvious even abdominally. Have since confirmed 2x

at my 13 weeks scan i thought i saw something too so did the scanner person who confirmed boy to me.. i am now 24 weeks pregnant with a GIRL not boy lol

It looked pretty obvious to me, it was almost identical to our 20wk with our DS. I really dont think the sonographer would have said anything unless he was sure but still not going out and buying blue just yet! lol

the same happened to me at 13wks 0days scan was told boy and i seen it myself but since then i have done so much research on google im doubting it now as people are like its impossible to know that early and girls and boys look the same and so on, so paid for private gender scan, find out tomorrow at 9.50 so will update, im happy either way but was so shocked to get a gender guess that early i need to know lol and yes im way bigger im huge!!

At my 12 week scan, the tech said she saw a penis....and even printed out a pic pointing to it. She had me convinced I was having a boy. But at my 20-week ultrasound, I was told it's a GIRL. So wrong guess at that 12-week scan!

We dont have the option of gender scans here so i have to wait. Ill have one sad little boy if its a girl haha.

I had a scan at 13 weeks (NT scan) and both the tech and the perinatal doctor both told me it was a girl, and they were right, I am having a girl. So yes, they can tell you that early

All confirmed we are having a little boy and the picture was no different to my 13 weeks so you can be told early 😁

You definitely"can" it's just the accuracy that's less (and probably greatly varies on experience level). Our sonographer said she would give us a guess at 12 weeks but it would be 60/70 percent accurate...

We said no as we're team yellow... didn't stop me trying to catch a glimpse of anything and everything though!!!!
