12dpo bfn - symptoms disappearing?

Hi all,

This is our first month ttc baby no2 God Willing. We did the SMEP plan and I got a positive opk on CD17. Since around 6-7 dpo I've had the most sore bbs ever - same as when I got my bfp with DS and tugging//pulling in my lower abdomen and just a general feeling of fullness low down. I've also been having very vivid dreams and I have been constantly exhausted this past week. I tested this morning at 12dpo which is when I got my BFP woth DS and it was bfn today. My symptoms are also disappearing- bbs aren't sore anymore and I'm not as tired anymore. But these symptoms really had me sure I was pregnant this month. Anyone else in the sane boat? x

I had months while TTC DS that I could have sworn I was pregnant -- all the signs were there -- but then I got BFNs. The month I conceived DS, no symptoms, and I'd thought I was out for the month. Sometimes our bodies are cruel! Symptoms are better for hindsight than in predicting if we're pregnant or not.

Hi Dill,
Thanks for replying. I also didn't have alot of symptoms with DS except for the sore bbs and pain in right ovary. I know AF is probably on her way but am just really confused about having the super sore bbs. It's been 5 years since we've had DS and I haven't had sore bbs in any cycle except this one whete we have ttc - typical eh? 🙈 Yes I agree symptoms are better for hindsight.

Me too....with DD we were so convinced we were out we discussed adoption. You never know.

Currently 13DPO, and up until yesterday I really thought AF was coming (which it still could be). My breasts were really tender to the touch and I have been having cramping and fullness since 7DPO. Yesterday all symptoms disappeared except for minor back twinges and some feelings of stretching and pulling from my right about my belly button and down (but minor). Also very sleepy but I'm attributing that to recovering from in-laws visiting and all the travelling we were doing. So yah, kinda same boat.
