Is there a sleep regression at all around 13 months?
Alex is normally napping very well. He used to nap 2 and a bit hours in the morning and then an hour in the afternoon.. The last few weeks he has dropped to one nap a day and usually naps for 2 and a bit around midday (some days he still wanted 2 naps) but the last 3 days he wakes after 40 or 45 min and ony will stay asleep if I'm on the bed with him.
Night times are quite bad as well he is teething and he gets very bad wind from it but the last few days it's not only due to that but him just wakin up for 'no reason'.
What's going on? Anyone who knows?

Not sure really but Isla is going through a similar stage right now. She napped for only 30 minutes today yet was running round all day like anything. It might be that he's about to hit a developmental milestone. That usually messes with sleep.

Thanks,
I tried putting him down for a nap this morning but he was fighting it and after an hour i gave up, took him for a walk and he fell asleep. Normally it only takes him 10 or so minutes.
In the afternoon he only slept for 30 min. This is sooo unlike him. He has also been very grumpy and tired all day.
Whatever it is, I hope it doesnt last for too long :(

Hey how's his sleep been today hun? Any better? Isla hasn't had a nap again today :dohh:

We are in the same situation for almost a month now :dohh: used to sleep from 12.30pm-2.45pm and now if we are lucky it's an hour (usually 40-50 mins)

I just hope it doesn't mean they're dropping their naps altogether :dohh:

My LO's never really napped, maybe one a day sometimes but her sleeping at night has got really bad the last few nights.

Our LO has changed the routine of her daytime naps altogether! She used to have 1 hour in the morning and 1.5 hours in the afternoon and would sleep 12 hours at night. Now shes dropped the morning nap, and struggles to get to sleep in the afternoon, so Ive combined it to 1.5 hours around midday now. So she has a larger break before bedtime. She is still sleeping 12 hours at night, but it now takes her longer to go to sleep.

Bobby woke up at 4.45am last night. He used to wake up hungry and started feeding him readybrek before bed which stopped it. I thought we solved this by feeding him carbs at night (he had a bowl of pasta, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese) would fill him. He ate the whole bowl so I don't know why he still woke up hungry :dohh: I think we will go back to readybrek :(

He is still all over the place. But not only naps but nights too.
This morning he decided to wake up at 4.45 :( we co-sleep and we just ignore him as he just wanted to play but about an hour later he decided to go back to sleep for 30 min :dohh:
I have no idea what is going on. At 8.30 this morning he wanted a nap again an he didn't fall asleep until 9.30 but once he was asleep he slept for 90 min. And he had a small nap this afternoon. Yesterday he was back to just the one nap 10.15-12.45.
I'm goig mad here as he already is hard to get to sleep due to wind because he is teething but now it's even harder.

hi hun, my dd has gotten really bad for naps over the last few days. On saturday she only had 20 minutes during the whole day, but she does sleep through the night.

If I can get her down for a nap the shortest time is 20 mins or can range up to 2 hours. I never no how long she's going to sleep for. I think she's also got some more teeth trying to come through, but when I try to have a feel she bites my finger with her front teeth.

All I can put it sown to is that she may be coming up to another milestone, if not then I have no idea. But I wish it would finish soon as I'm shattered.

I do hope it settles for all of us soon. The last few days after Alex gone to bed in the evening I feel so shattered! I just lay on the sofa watching crap on the tv, I used to read every min Alex was asleep but if I do now I just fall asleep and feel even worse than I did before.
