13w 1d Scan- Nub guesses for fun?

Hi ladies
Just came back from my nuchal scan and all looked well. Just wondered if you ladies had any thoughts on babba's sex from these pictures





I am hoping for a boy but gotta feeling this is a lil girl-

Can't see the nub, so it's hard to say. Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy!

I can't see a clear nub either hun but if what i'm looking at is right I do see a very faint line. I'd say x

Thanks ladies. The sonographer wasnt particularly nice when I asked about the Nub theory- he said not to read the internet and it was there to scare you!! I think he then made sure most of the pics were not good nubs and even wasnt too good with turning the screen so I could see- Guess I'll have to wait for our next scan!!

Looks like a boy to me. When I mentioned it to my gynae he didn't know about the nub theory cos I don't think they call it that. But at my 16wk scan he showed us the 'pipe' coming from the bladder and showed us that at the angle it was pointing it looked to him like it was a girl (which since has been confirmed) which is exactly what the nub theory is all about!

I cant see anything on my scan and the sonographer we had knew about it but didnt point anything out on the scan- I think he was being a meanie!!

Thanks Minimin, we wanted a girl so badly. I still can't believe that one day I'll be holding my own precious pink bundle, lol.

Some sonographers are so mean. Everything is private over here and we pay a fortune so they are forced to be nice

Thats so great- makes me smile that you will be getting your pink bundle soon! I bet you cant wait. Good to hear that the money you pay gets you the service. DH and I thinking of a private scan inbetween our NHS one. We have had one in the first tri and now thinking of another one- we would like to know the sex too but they wont be able to tell me until 19 weeks and I get an NHS one at 20 weeks so a bit of a waste!

How far gone where you when you were told the sex? Any names?

My gynae did a scan at 16wks and 20wks and said he thought it was a girl but would never tell us for definite. He said I would find out at my 22wk anomaly scan at the fetal assessment centre as their machines are better. It took her 2 seconds to tell us it is definitely a girl I could have kissed her, lol. I was also really relieved as the pink curtains are up and I have bought so much in pink already, lol.

I hope you get to find out soon. The wait is awful, especially if you're as impatient as I am.
