hello- just sharing what my DS did this morning really.
Last week my mom mention my DS had started really crying and putting his arms up to held when a program with a rocket came on. I didn't reall think anything of it until today!
I put cbbc whilst I quickly got my DS some breakfast and as I walked in the room I noticed that rocket rhyme? show was on (2 rather annoying men and an orange puppet looking at rhyming words)
I watched my DS and he was sat on his knees looking petrified! He was actually shaking all over, started to cry and crawled to me to pick him up. When I did he was actually trembling all over! It was so sad!
I turned it off and have made a mental note to make sure I don't put it on again.

I was just wondering if any other babies/toddlers have shown signs of fear like this? I found it was so strange that out of all the strange things on cbbc he has seen before, he seems genuinely scared of this show, maybe he orange puppet?!

Aidan is scared of the alphablocks!

Ah bless him - the men in that are way creepy though!! Oliver was terrified of the number taker in number jacks. It hasn't been on for a few months now but he still talks about him :growlmad:

Thanks for your replies- I have to admit when he was shaking and wanting to be cuddled it was very cute and felt lovely to comfort him!:cloud9:

sophie loves it to but now i normally check which one it is before i let her watch it lol but if the ball or pinky ponk appears we have to change channel then go bk to it.

When Daisy was about your LOs age she was really scared of the fox on that Foxy Bingo advert.

Sounds like the programme Rhyme Rocket. It's absolutely appalling and I won't let my girls watch it.

To be fair the number taker scares the b-Jeebus out of me!!!!!!

My 14 month old is scared of Harry hill, and the lion off Madagascar

Rhyme Rocket. It's on around 9:30ish. The characters are very annoying, especially professor poet. I do actually have a bit of a lady wetness for officer ditty though. Annoying but a bit fit lol xx

My LO hasn't shown any fear of the TV but he is utterly petrified by bubbles :dohh: Of all things?! Our niece got a bubble machine for her last bday when LO was 10 months old. I assumed he'd grow out of it but he hasn't. He still screams at sort of bubbles being blown. Weird child :haha:

But I have to admit, when I was little I was scared stiff of Ernie (as in Bert & Ernie) from Sesame Street :haha: I can't remember why he freaked me out but I have a vivid memory of running to my dad's legs whenever he came on!!!
