I'm waiting to O too. I'm praying the clomid will work for me. I will be doing my first opk this afternoon.

I hope this is our lucky cycle. Is May the month for miracles?

Hi hun just to say OPKs are not always reliable with Clomid as they show surges when they are not always the O surge due to the drug just keep going even if you see a surge now xx

Q: Does Clomid cause problems with OPKs?

A: Clomid (Serophene/clomiphene citrate) can cause a false positive in OPKs if taken too soon after finishing the prescription. According to most of the manufacturers you should wait at least 3 days before using an OPK. If you take Clomid days 3-7 you can begin testing on day 10. If you take it 5-9, you should wait until day 12.

Thanks for this information. I wasn't told about this. I took clomid CD2-CD6 so I guess CD10 is okay for me. I tested anyway this afternoon and had a darkish test line but not quite as dark as the control. See what tomorrow brings

I didn't ovulate when I thought I had. My temps never rose afterwards. I had a slight temp rise today so am praying that I ovulated yesterday but I'm starting to feel pessimistic about this clomid stuff

Hi mrphyemma

When I took clomid, I would rarely O on it by itself, but they may be because I have PCOS. So when I take clomid, I have to take it with metformin in order to ovulate. This is my first month not taking clomid in a while and Im on CD 15 and have yet to ovulate as well. Ive gotten 3 nice negative OPKs. Praying that you do ovulate soon. Continue to BD!

If I get another good temp in the morning FF may give me my crosshairs and then I can assume I have ovulated unless my Cd21 bloods tell me otherwise x

Ok good then here's to good temps in the morning!

FF was so wrong on my ovulation last month. I actually O'd around day 19 and they had me at 15 thus I didnt BD enough and no BFP. This month so far OPKing and going to try and BD every day (maybe every other this week).

I hate FF I have dotted crosshairs by the skin of my teeth. My temps are still crappy despite now being on clomid. I had hoped it would rectify the situation.

I see FF friend has your O date as CD 17, but you got a + OPK on CD 14. I know with clomid you do ovulate earlier than you normally would so Im wondering why this change. I definitely know FF is not as accurate as most people think. Check out this site https://babymed.com/Tools/fertility/clomid/

You put in your date when you started taking clomid and it gives you a round about ovulation time.
