14 week scan today, gender?

Hey everyone!

I've heard mixed things about finding out gender at 14 weeks.anyone have any personal stories about looking at 14 weeks? I had scan at 12 weeks and we couldn't even guess lol. We couldn't see a nub or anything.

Did anyone see a potty shot that was clear? I remember my son's was clear as day at 16 weeks.

At 12 weeks the doctor said he couldn't be sure, and then at our 15+4 scan we were told the gender.
I know a lot of girls who find out at their 12 week scan though. We also didn't want to know that early.

I think it sometimes can depend on the sonogropher you get, some can be willing to give you an idea of what it is and others might tell you it's too soon. We found out at 15w5d and it was 100% certain!

Yeah I've heard some finding out at 12 or 13 weeks too! I would be too scared lol. Even if I find out today I will be cautious. Some ultrasounds I see are really apparent though so I guess it depends on how clear it is

My doctors the one doing it and she is super laid back so I'm hoping she will at least guess at my 12 week scan the cord was between baby's legs the whole time! I hope it doesn't stay like that at every scan!

I found out at 14w1d and was confirmed again at 12w and 20w. Now at 35w I'm hoping they are right still!

I found out with this one and ds2 both at exactly 14 weeks. One boy, and this on girl. So both are definitely possible to tell. However, we did have a private scan so the equipment was a lot nicer, newer, and better quality than you'd find at a doctors office.

Depends on baby, tech, and equipment! We found out with this ill guy at 13w4d and even the tech was shocked how clear as day it was. Been confirmed 2x since!
