Hi,

I'm now 14 weeks pregnant with what will be our 3rd baby. I just used my doppler and I'm quite sure I felt the baby pushing back when I was pressing the wand against my belly! :) I think I felt movement with my last child at around 15 weeks, though I was never certain. Any experiences with feeling movement this early? How sure were you about it?
Thanks!

I keep thinking I'm feeling flutters. Almost like a flutter/thump. I keep thinking a flap of wings. But it's my first. It'll catch me off guard and happens a few times a day.

I keep hearing "oh its just gas" but I don't feel like it's gas. I've never felt this before I got pregnant. And I felt similar, lighter feelings during the last 2 weeks or so. This is my first, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Over the last couple of days I have felt some occasional little pops, always around the same area in my lower belly. I can't help but wonder if it is the baby. That's what I first felt with DD as well, but not until 17 weeks so not sure if it is real or not.

Yep I'm a FTM to be and I felt flutters/waves around 13 weeks!

Definite movement around 18 weeks, and consistent movement since New Years!

Its quite different to gas if you ask me. It felt literally like a fish inside me. Still does :p

The fish is a perfect description, wannabe! Have been feeling flutters and thumps on and off for weeks, so I would not say 14 weeks is too early. Very much looking forward to when they are strong enough for SO to feel too!

I had the popcorn popping sensation with this one around 14 weeks. For sure felt movement at 16 weeks. So possible :)

I felt my first at around 13 weeks, and my second at 8/9 weeks. Just tiny little flutters. Most first movements are described as "bubbles" or "flutters". I'm not sure about a "pushing back" feeling. I think the fetus would still be way too small and cushioned at 14 weeks to feel that. When the baby gets bigger (like 25 weeks on) and starts to fill up more of the womb, you can definitely feel stronger movements.

Yep im feeling the popping fluttering and have in a consistent way for a week. Even seems to have a bit of a routine going.

I felt flutters this time from 11wks and definite movements from about 15/16wks. If it's not something you felt before you were pregnant then it's probably baby! :)

I have felt little twitches and prods for the last couple of weeks. They are getting more definite and more frequent. I felt baby 1 at 16 weeks and baby 2 at 13 weeks. With both by 18 weeks I could see movement on the outside.

At my scan today the dr was prodding the baby with the scanner to get it to move position.

Not too early at all!

I was definitely feeling movement at 14 weeks this time. I was feeling flutters at 12 weeks.

With my son, I felt movement at 12 weeks. This time I have an anterior placenta so just recently started feeling movement

I felt movement at 16 weeks with my first. I felt movement at 10-11 weeks with this one! I was quite surprised. It was only sometimes and when sitting it certain positions but it has slowly become more constant. It's so exciting!

I felt movement at 11 weeks with my first, I've felt a little bit with this baby so far (13 weeks on Monday) but not nearly as much as with imogen, well she's crazy now so maybe this means this baby will be chilled out :)

Thanks for all of your feedback!
I've only felt it one time since but I'm nearly 100% sure it was the baby.
I know they start pushing back sometime after 11 weeks, and now it's even larger, so makes sense :)
Still no random flutters but I'm sure that will come soon!

I feel my baby about 2-3 times a day, you can't mistake it!

Very possible! Gelt my son around 14 weeks. Wasn't looking for it because I thought it was coming later but I realized the flutters were not gas after feeling them a few days :)

Ditto!

Definitely not too early. Felt movement right before 14 weeks and definite movement right around 15 weeks with my first.
