Been ttc for 4 months, and this is the first faint line we have seen...i am too scared to get too enthusiastic about this...so i thought i would ask you ladies what you think!!! Do you think this is too faint to be a positive for 16 dpo?

I'm going crazy with what if's right now

That IS pretty faint, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. There's one gal that got a faint line like that at 18 dpo about a month or two back. Plus it depends on if your O date was right, when implantation occured, etc. Looks good to me!

Looks like :bfp: to me, I would try not to worry about how light the lines are, as OP said implantation could have taken a bit longer, but test again in a few days if it will make you feel better xx

Do you chart? Is there anyway that you might have ovulated a little later then you thought? Or it might just be that the baby implanted later than average. I think it can happen up until 12dpo so if that happened, it'd be great lines for 3-4 days past implant. :) As long as there is progression in the lines I wouldn't worry. To help put your mind at ease you could go and get a series of blood tests ran to make sure the hcg was doubling on target.

Congrats! :)

Looks good to me you never know when implanting can occur! Fx and keep us updated!

We are being treated at a fertility clinic, and they inseminated us on the 13th. We were never told to chart or do temps.
I get checked everyday from day 10 until ovulation, and then they do the insemination.

Honestly can tell you, I don't have many symptoms. Feel like all my symptoms disappeared ugh :dohh:

Thanks ladies...you are making me feel better already :)

On another note I forgot to add...af was due latest yesterday and still hasn't shown her ugly face, and im NEVER late

I will keep you updated...thanks for the moral support, it was much needed :winkwink:

i wouldnt try to worry too much hunnie... i dare say at the clinic there will be more than happy to run a series of HCG blood tests to help confirm that HCG is rising :) awww congrats hunnie x

U r pregnant :) when I fell pregnant this time all my pre af symptoms disappeared eg... Sore bbs, feeling sick, etc, so when I finally got the bfp it didn't feel real coz normally when I get pregnant my bbs kill and I can't stand the smell of coffee etc but had non of that (I thought it may have been a sign that I was carrying a boy as I have 3 girls) everything was and still is different this time so don't worry I'm sure everything will be fine Hun it's just a waiting game now until u get your levels done at the docs :) Fxd for u x

just a quick update...went to doc's office on the Friday (17 dpo) and it came back neg  but he ordered some blood work to be done when I showed him my hpt's...now of course i have to wait because of the Holidays...so he said he would call with results on the Tuesday most likely...

I have in the meantime taking another hpt and compared them to the 15, 16dpo and its definitely darker...so my hopes are still high

I am 19 dpo and still no AF and like i said before i am NEVER late. So we are feeling very hopeful as of right now...but im still a bit nervous its not a dark positive this late!!! ugh...ridiculousssss

Sorry im being such a girl and worrying lol :winkwink:

Your levels are rising as that test is much darker. Drs tests arent as sensitive so dont worry as long as beta is rising its good. Congrats!!

Looking very promising! How exciting!! Congratulations!

Fx for your little bean to be a sticky one!!
