150mg of Clomid question

Like the title says I am on 150 mg of Clomid this cycle which will no be monitored because I leave for vacation in two days. My last two monitored cycles were BFN with femara and trigger so we decided a different route this month. I took 50 mg clomid before and I had crazy side effects and now i'm taking 150 mg..should I not be experiencing many more side effects with this high dose? I feel NOTHING..only some random ovary pinches and i'm on my last pills of clomid today..i dont get it! Does this mean it may not work at all?

Hi I'm not sure but didnt want to read and run..I would think if the 50mg worked then the 150mg should too...maybe your just not feeling it cause your body has gotten used to it? I have no idea sorry

Thanks for not reading and running!..I hope it works too..im sure my body is not use to it as this was the second time I have ever used it..so no clue why there are no side effects..

Hi Im doing 150mgs of clomid too im on cd 6 but I took the pills on cd 1-5 and I believe it's just a side effect of clomid because I'm having those same feelings

I have those random pinches and i know its just growing follies But I have no other side effects on 150 mg but when i took 50 mg i thought I was going to die..I just dont undertand it

Honestly, for me, I had tons of symptoms at 50mg and 100mg. I found that the 150mg made me feel less symptoms. Weird, right? At 150mg I'd mostly just get occasional hot flashes.

yes, definately weird! I didn't even get one hot flash..i remember with 50 mg I was having a hot flash at least once an hour..go figue!

Well..I am today on CD 9 I took clomid from 3-7. I went in today for a ultrasound and bloodwork. I got the shock of my life..2 cycles before this I was taking femara and I produced one mature follie well today there are 5!! Thats right..5!!! There were 4 at 17mm and one at 19..and my E2 level was 1352! I will be leaving for vacation tonight so I will not be monitored anymore this cycle however the doctor seems to think I have a huge possibility of multiples..so he wouldnt give me ovidrel because I will release all 5. Hopefully with natural ovulation I wont release more than 2-3..I really only want one more child because I already have a 4 year old son..however whatever is suppose to happen i will leave in God's hands..i may not even get pregnant with that many eggs so lets see..im a bit nervous but excited the sperm will have more than one target..that surely will increase my chances of at least one taking.

Thats great news!!!!!! OMG im not monitored so that gives me much hope that hubby and I will have multiple targets as well!!! are you yet? I heard that it supposed to be there waiting and I saw on another forum where this lady had 5 follies but she was only pregnant with one baby so I believe the more the merrier!

YAY for 5 follys! I am on 100mg and I dont get any symptoms until after I ovulate. I get the usual tender breasts, hot flashes, scary crazy dreams and my husband says I'm moody at times. He likes to tell me that I am clomidy lol. Anyways, wishing you luck this cycle. I'm on round 3 of clomid and am 5DPO today. I have a disadvantage though, only one tube and its a shorty at 3.5cm. I hope this is my month as well!

No I'm not, I wish I was. I am temping and using OPK's and emailing my chart to my doctor every month. I did have the HSG test done in November and my one tube was clear so I atleast know that. I think my problem is that since my tube is so short, it doesnt mature before making it to my uterus so it doesnt implant. I am currently 5DPO and have had a few weird things going on though this cycle. I almost always have a temp dip on 8DPO and this month I got it at 4DPO, it dropped .6, then this morning it popped back up that .6. I also have more tender breasts, only my left side hurts all the way up to my armpit, never have had that on clomid either but I do get tender breasts with it. I hate the waiting game!!!

Tell me about it! the waiting sucks more than anything because you have to wait to ovulate then wait two weeks to see if it was successful

Today is CD 11 and I'm starting to get ECWM tonight but me and hubby couldn't dtd because we just came in from some street celebrations(we are in Dominican Republic as I write this) and he fell asleep as soon as he hit the bed..the rum didn't help the situation..but we will tomorrow for sure. Good luck to all of you. Since I'm on vacation I'm not worrying about o and the tww, we are just going with the flow and if I get pregnant this cycle then good..if not..no biggie..

No you should not be worried yes clomid has it's side effects but everyone doesn't experience them.
