Hey all,

Recently joined this site and thought I'd give an update during my 2WW!

Well we've just been away on holidays celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary... the first day we were there I had EWCM for the first time since coming off the pill (day 14 of my cycle). And because we were on holidays, there was plenty of baby-making happening :winkwink:

So I am now 15DPO and waiting for my period. I had some very light, brown spotting last night/this morning and I am wondering if this could be implantation bleeding? I'm not 100% sure when my AF is due as it's only my 2nd month off the pill (Last cycle was 32 days, today is day 29). I did a pregnancy test 4 days ago (a bit too keen) and it was negative. And I have another test sitting in my drawer but I'm wondering whether I need to wait a few days to test.

As for symptoms, they have been minimal. The main thing would be urinating more often than usual. Probably every 2-4 hours.
Very, very subtle nausea at times (but I could be imagining it).
And I had one episode of bad cramping for about 2-3hours... 2DPO.

From what I've read online 15DPO is too late for implantation bleeding, but I'm not sure I believe this! What do you think?
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Staying hopeful.

Hi and welcome. Some women do spot around the time of their period. Not sure if it would technically be consider IB. I hear IB is extremely rare. I had what I think may have been IB around 9 and 11dpo and it was 2-4 tiny pin head sized specks of red blood on the TP. I am 1 day late for AF and tested BFN on 13dpo. So I am just giving AF a few days to show and if she does not, then I will retest.

I did have spotting the day of AF and a couple days after during one cycle. I got a faint bfp 17dpo and it was a chemical. I have low progesterone however, and was not taking my herbs that month to maintain my levels.

With that being said I would retest now to be on the safe side as if you are pregnant you want to get the spotting checked out right away. It may or may not mean your progesterone is low and low progesterone can cause chemicals and mc. If it is BFN I would wait 3 days and retest, because if it is IB, it make take a little while to get a BFP because HCG levels may be low.

Good luck hun! And please update me soon! :hugs:
