Hello, ladies! It has been a while since I've been on, but while feeling quite anxious tonight (DH is out of town) I knew just where to turn! Hopefully someone can either give me some sound advice or set me straight-I'll take anything I can get!

SOOO-I just saw my OB on 2/1 b/c we have been ttc for 20 months. I have seen him twice already since the 1 year mark, and he advised OPKs, baby aspirin, etc (I have SLE). He prescribed me Clomid b/c I have had a few charts showing questionable ovulation and 3 months where I never got a positive OPK. I am now 16 dpo (based on EWCM). I did not temp this month (stupid, I know) but went back through all of my charts on FF and I have never once gone more than 14 days past EWCM (which usually was also my pos OPK day) before AF came. We dtd the day before and day after ov, so I know there's a chance. I also had a progesterone blood test done at the Dr. w/a result of 22ng. The floor is open to comments-what do you all think?????

Thanks in advance! Much love and baby dust to all of you :flower:

Thats great hun

My advice is enjoy the excitement while you can :)

Test in the morning :)

Yay you!

Thanks, tryinghard:winkwink:! I was kind of just waiting for AF this am when I got up, but lo and behold she is not here YET and the cramps I've had for the past 2 days have decreased. I haven't got a test, but may go buy one today-we'll see. It's just been SOOOO LOOOONG that we've had disappointment and I can't help but think that I'm off in my calculations. If I wasn't 10 dpo when I had the progesterone done, could it still have been that high?

Any other opinions on my situation would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :flower:

hey hun - i'm only 2 days behind you and i'm going out of my mind!!! i figured if AF hasn't arrived by 18dpo then i'll test...

sympathy hugs and mega babydust to you xxxx

Thanks, Bugbabe-keep your head up-patience is a virtue, right? Fingers crossed for you!

I think I will also wait b/c I noticed a little bit of pink tinged cm this afternoon, so I'm assuming it means the worst. It's just so weird-even the cramps that I had strongly at 14 & 15 dpo have decreased. This SUCKS!

Ok, so here I am again today, wondering what is going on! I am assuming I'm not really 18 dpo at this point, as I NEVER have gone more than 14 days past EWCM & pos OPK until AF arrived. So, calculating the last day we BD & what could still produce a viable pregnancy AND the fact that I had a high progesterone level on 2/1, maybe AF will arrive by tomorrow. Here's the thing, though, I had pre-AF like cramps on Sun, Mon, Tues and mild ones yesterday. Then I noticed slightly pink-tinged cm (TMI-after a bm). Today, no cramps, still sore bbs and only the cm when I wiped (sorry, TMI again). It's just weird that the cramps have subsided, as they usually increase leading up to AF, and never that many days before. Oh well, I guess! I will continue to update, as I get frustrated when I find a link I like and there is never any outcome!

Thanks in advance for anyone's advice or comments!

Lots of love and baby dust to all!

Have you tested yet?! I know what it's like to get the BFN, but yet sometimes wondering drives me more crazy! FX'd it's a BFP!

korink-I've decided that Sat. is my testing day, if AF has still not arrived. If it arrives Sat, that will have made me 3 dpo at my progesterone test, which based on all of the research I've done, about the earliest that I could have had a level that high. I HATE tests!!! I got a negative hpt at 4 months pregnant w/my dd (we had a blood test by then, but did the test anyway).

How have you responded to clomid? I see your prog. levels, but how about side effects, etc.? Assuming AF starts here for me soon, I am to begin taking it cd 5-9. I mostly ovulate on my own, but have missed some months, so this is our next step in the LTTTC journey. How long have you been ttc?

Sounds so promising, I have my fingers crossed for you that you don't have to start clomid.

I for one get horrible side effects. hot-flushes, night sweats, crazy moods and worst of all every pregnancy sign under the sun for my TTW.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

I also always ovulate on my own (verified by OPK's, CBFM and temping) but apparently I was not ovulating very well (I was shocked my Prog was so low on clomid, I thought since I was already ovulating, my PROG would be awesome on clomid). Anyway, I'm on my 3rd cycle, and so far the only thing I've noticed is I have minor night sweats. I have felt no different at all besides that. Part of me wishes for SOMETHING so I know it's working, but last month's prog. proved it did what it was supposed to without giving me s/e.
This is our 15th month TTC, with a mc in the middle of there. Worst process to go through ever!

Well, UPDATE here-I got AF this morning : ( Cramps increased for about an hour then BAM-she came with a vengeance. I'm glad I didn't test, as I was probably just off in calculations. So, I will be starting Clomid on Tuesday with you lovely ladies. I don't mind side effects, I guess, I just hope to have a good couple of eggies pop out and have a nice comfy lining for it (or them) once it's fertilized.

trying hard-looks like I'm only 3 days behind you in your cycle so we should keep in touch! Are you taking clomid this cycle?

korink-so sorry to hear of your mc-I couldn't even imagine...but your prog last month does seem like a good level-fingers crossed it is there or higher this month!

Thanks for keeping up with me through these past few days, ladies-I really needed it!

: ) : ) : )

you are more than welcome :D

Yeah back on the clomid crazy train for me  hot flushes and night sweats have started already and I have to try really hard to not be too emo.

This will be your first round of clomid yeah? Will you be monitored?
