My LO is 16 weeks and is still getting up every 2 hours, im breastfeeding. For about 4 days he went from 10pm to 4am which was amazing them stopped and back to every 2 hours. Please help!!!! Im slowly going insane!!!

Anyone with similar problem or got through this period, any tips????

no tips and this wont make you feel better but leo is 6 months, breast fed and is still up every 2/3 hours. What i think i'm trying to say is its normal?!

Hey hun - some babies just wake up a lot. Hannah's 8 months and still wakes up twice for a feed. However, there are a lots of growth spurts around the 16 week mark (so steel yourself), so you're likely to find that he'll either grow loads in the next few days, or have learnt something new. We went through periods of waking up every 45 minutes! What I would suggest is that you make sure you eat properly and get as much fresh air and light exercise as you can, it'll help you feel a bit better. Don't feel bad if sometimes you want to hit someone/cry/run away. As with all things baby, this too will pass! Hugs xxxx

My LO has started this and i think we are heading into the 4mth sleep regression, thank God for Red Bull!

Is your baby just used to the habit of waking up every 2 hours but doesnt actually need the milk? if so you could try soothing them back to sleep (or getting your partner to!) for one of the 'feeds' and see what happens. After a few days that one should drop off.

He is really coming on development wise so maybe thats it, he just needs the extra calories. Are you breastfeeding also?

He's hungry, even if he just has about 5 minutes he really goes for it but early morning he likes to snuggle n bed with me, my fault terrible habit i've got him into.

My 5 month old is still feeding every 2 hours in the night, its quite common im afraid. Co-sleeping saved my sanity (just!).
She was up every 45-1hr at 4 months so definitely a growth spurt at that age. Hope it gets better huni, we feel ur pain but try to enjoy the extra cuddles xx

It's totally normal. My 15 month old still wakes and nurses every 2 hours! xx

My 5 month old is similar! She wakes every 3hours and really goes for it too, so I gather she is hungry. I have noticed she's spaced out her feedings in the day though so wondering whether she makes up for it at night. She is also breastfed.

So not used to it as my boy went through the night at 9 weeks!

Sometimes my oh can settle her again at the 1am feed time, but she will wake an hour later, so I gather she is hungry.

Sorry don't have much advice but empathise!
