16DPO...trying not to get my hopes up too much...UPDATE PAGE 2!!!!

So as per the title Im currently at 16 dpo, af is 1 day late (Im on cd 32, and my longest cycle ever came in at 31 days which was quite a while ago) I wasent hopefull for this month considering my husbands and mines work schedules as well as well as other factors didint give us the opportunity to bd more than twice this cycle (how sad!)! And I didint think these days were even remotely near my approximate ovulation date,but Ive thrown charting out the window so who knows right...I took a test this morning with FMU and low and behold.....

Now the line came up within the 10 minute time frame as indicated on the box (Came up in about 5 or so minutes) But Im worried that this might be an evap....Can evaps show up within a few minutes or does the urine have to have time to evaporate? Has anyone heard of evaps on the procare tests from dollarama ( Canada's equivalent to the dollar tree tests sold in the US)? I really thought if I got a + this late in my cycle it would be significantly darker.....Any insighht?!?

I am no expert at these but I do see a faint line on my iPad. Not sure how to tell if it's an evap or not. A friend of mine didn't get a positive for over a week after her period though and she is now 37 weeks pregnant! Good luck, hope it's your BFP!

Gosh.....Now Im all excited!!! If it were you, would you hold your wee for a few hours and get yourself a digi or a few other tests just to be sure? Would it be a waste of money? I feel like I need to know asap!!!

You could try a digi, or wait it out a couple of days and use others untill you get a darker line?

I would say BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mine looked the same at 16-17 dpo. Those test took forever to show a dark pos. I would try a FRER, I bet you will have a very clear line. Congrats...

BFP! Congratulations!! I think you'd probably get a positive on a digi, and I agree with the previous comment, you'd likely get a very clear line on a FRER.

Looks like its a.....BFP!!! Went to the pharmacy and picked up a life brand hpt (blue dye yuck!) and within a minute a second line appeared giving me a + sign!!! So...here to a happy 9 months! I will post a pic as soon as I get over the initial shock!
