1st day of Clomid today

Just wondering if anyone is starting their 1st round of clomid?
I took my 1st dose today very scared dont want to get my hopes up too much

Yep, today is the first day of my first round too! I'm sorry you're feeling scared. I am actually really excited to have a normal, short cycle, and I like that I'm doing something about it and not just waiting around wondering what's happening. I feel a lot better when I feel in control, even to some small degree.

I'm sure I'll be freaking out during the 2ww but as of right now, I'm feeling a lot more positive than I have in a few months.

Good luck! It's good to be realistic but maybe you can let yourself hope at least little bit

I've been on Clomid (off and on) for a total of 3 cycles and like Carine said, I like it because it makes me feel like I'm increasing my chances! Expect to have a lot of cramping/ovulation pain, but other than that, it's great. Goodl uck!

I'm on my first cycle with clomid. So far I have had some hot flashes every now and then, a little naseau, and one day of being dizzy. Thats it. I should ovulate some time in the next week. Good luck to you!

Hi waiting2be! I'm on CD4 and I just started my first round of clomid as well! I feel the exact same way as you. I am pretty nervous about the outcome of my first month.. I don't want to anticipate too much. BUT at the same time it is exciting because we all actually have a real chance this month! I haven't had any bad side effects yet. I have been taking mine in the morning. What dose are you starting on?

i'm very scared beacuse our FS only gave us 1 round of clomid no refills (50mg) so it puts alot of pressure on getting it right this time...

Like i said before i have a normal period, i ovulate on my own and the FS found nothing "wrong" with me or my hubby so we dont have an answer as to why we havent got preggo yet (2yrs 7 months) of trying

Also a little unsure as to when i should start testing for O this month? should i start to test earlier??? no side affects yet but i only took my 1st pill yesterday around noon

i hope you get your soon! Anyone experience increased acne with clomid? i'm on CD14 and have broken out more than usual. Still no +opk...hopefully soon. until i get it we are every other day!

I will start testing on day cycle day 10 this month just in case i ovulate earlier with clomid... I'm also very tempted to buy pre seed which i saw a drug store near my house carries it

Preseed is GREAT! I used it when I conceived my DS (along with 100mg Clomid 3-7) since Clomid can dry out your CM and fertile CM is one of the most important pieces to conception since it's transporting DH's swimmers to your egg, so it's definitely worth using even if Clomid doesn't change your CM at all

Hi Moorebetter! Yes, I've lived here for a couple of years now. We were in Florida before and hated it, ha. My husband and I really love NC; it's a much better place for us to raise our (potential) family.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! Only one more day for me, and my FS said to start BDing "in earnest" on Sunday. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday so hopefully I'll learn that I'm on track to ovulate!
