1st day of Clomid today

i'm feeling great especially with the stories of ppl saying they got preggo on the 1st round on clomid i dont want to get my hopes up but i just cant help it hope this is our month ladies best of luck to all

today will be day 3 of clomid (50mg) days 3-7

i hope you get your soon! Anyone experience increased acne with clomid? i'm on CD14 and have broken out more than usual. Still no +opk...hopefully soon. until i get it we are every other day!

Hi I wanted to comment on your acne question because YES. I have been breaking out since starting the clomid. Not really bad or anything, but definitely have a bump sprouting up each day since I have been taking it and before my face was completely clear!

Day 4 of taking Clomid, my side hurts. its like a dull cramp that gets worse at times but has been hurting since I woke up this morning.. Im going to stick it out, maybe this means its working!

Side effects here too! I was burning UP yesterday. I felt so warm early in the evening that I was starting to sweat a bit, and then I had a hard time sleeping because of it. Glad today is my last pill!

YaY Today is my last pill (clomid round 1 days 3-7) I'm getting very excited!
Hope to get me some pre seed this wknd and try it out... also will be buying my O test to start testing on Monday

I would like to mention that I only felt very emotinal and had a few hot flashes on the second day but so far the others days have been easy on me....

I'm feeling very excited for all you ladies as well good luck!

Moorebetter- I also had that cramping when taking Clomid the month I conceived my DS, for me it was on my right side/ovary, my doc told me that having those twinges/pains is a VERY good sign because it's likely due to the hormones stimulating your follicles to grow nice and big and then of course, release (ovulate!) YAY!!! Although, not everyone will have those feelings, which of course doesn't mean it's not working for others, just some of us actually do feel our ovaries hard at work lol.

Hey Ladies! I got my +opk yesterday on the clearblue digital! I love the smiley! I had some serious ovulation pains starting on tuesday i think. Yesterday was the worst of all with the stabbing in my ovaries (both sides, more left though) and lots of pressure low on the uterus. Today i have felt just a alot of pressure/fullness in the uterus. So i guess today is ovulation day? We plan on when OH get off work tonight. Hope its not too late to catch the egg! But we did yesterday, and the day before that, and 2 days before that! Hope its enough! TWW is going to be long!

On a side note, today alot of the geriatric patients i work with were loving on me something extra special! Giving me lots of skin compliments...which i never get! One lady grabbed my boobs and another rubbed my butt! So i'm wondering if my ovulation was putting the love in the air?! Wrong gender though! LOL!

Hi Lesley! I'm glad to see you're on 4-8 too; I thought I was the only one! What's been your experience TTC so far?

I'm really interested to see when I ovulate, because I've had very long cycles and at this point I don't really believe that it can happen before CD40! lol Of course it would be amazing to conceive on the first round but I will be THRILLED if I just manage to have a short/normal cycle.

Hi Carine!I've been TTC for 1 year now,with no luck.I have PCOS,diagnosed when I was 16.My DR. put me on Dianette (BCP).After 12 years I stopped taking the pills and had no cycle on my own.I hope clomid will work,and see ovulation for first time.

hi carine! we got married may of 2010 and have been trying since then with one problem-i stopped bcp and have not gotten my period or ovulated on my own. i don't think i have ever, though, because i was put on bcp 8 yrs ago because of irregular cycles. doc and i first started talking about clomid in dec 2010. i did 3 rounds of provera to induce a period and try to regulate my cycles without luck, so i am waiting for af (think it will start this wednesday because i usually start on day 4 after last provera pill). my husband is being stubborn and will not get sa done-but i honestly think i'm the only problem since i don't o-so doc finally agreed to clomid. i will be doing clomid 50 mg for 2 months, then will move on on a higher dose, if needed. doc will only do 6 months though, then we have to try something else. i hope it works the first time! your ticker says you are on day 10......so let me know when you ovulate since you took the clomid the same days i will be...i am interested to find out! doctor says i need a pelvic exam if i am not pg or get af by day 30 to check for ovarian over-stimulation

YAY that makes me feel so much better! My side was killing me for a whole day. man it hurt, glad to know that those pains could mean a better chance at having a baby!!

Just had my CD12 ultrasound and it showed 3 or 4 follicles at about 11mm. She said I probably have 5 more days until ovulation, and I should start OPKs on CD16.

This wasn't really a surprise to me because I have had long cycles and didn't start the Clomid until CD4. Before my cycles got super long, I had 4 cycles at 32 or 33 days, so I'm curious to see if that's what I end up with on Clomid.

In related news, I couldn't have picked a worse 2-week time span for all this. I'm in my last week of classes and have 4 final exams and a 25-page paper due next week. I'm going to try hard to keep BDing every other day, but I feel like this cycle is doomed already because of the stress...

Hi Carine. My DR.gave me Clomid ,and he never mention ultrasound to me,only 21 day blood test,but I wish they check mine too.Is this your first cycle with Clomid?
