well hi everyone.
i had my 1st lap done on tuesday and had my big ol polup removed. looked pretty big in the photos, like a golf ball. so my womb is freed up again now lol.
the shock was that the doc found no endometriosis and said my overies were fine???
i had to call him back to me and asked him to repeat it.
the first gyne that i went to see was so sure i had all 3 things wrong with me.
am i right in saying though that the lap does not lie and if i had it he would have seen it?
not that i want the problems i just want to make sure i really dont have them , as for the last few months i have lived thinking i had all these troubles.
he said if my periods dont go "normal " in 6 months to see my gp for a referal again and if they do get normal(what ever that is for me lol) and i dont fall pregnant within 12 months to see gp and get a referal back to him again, then i might hve to get fertility help, but he seemed a bit reluctant to do that , how odd.
so all the pain i have had for the last year plus it should go if i dont have the other things wrong with me.
i hope
what do you ladies think.
thanks
x

I would have thought the lap was pretty conclusive seeing as how the camera is actually looking at your insides? It is good that they found and removed the polyp and your periods should return to normal if that is what was disrupting them and also your fertility. I have a fibroid a bit larger than your polyp and that is meant to be affecting my periods and fertility and I am hoping that after my op things get back to normal.
Good luck!
