1st round of clomid...would love to hear success stories :)

I started my story on this thread about a week ago I think, but then thought I was out for the month.

I started my first round of clomid the end of August on my first period after having a lap the end of July. I had follicular tracking done with a scan, which showed both ovaries had follicles ready to ovulate this month and based on their size it would be the 3rd of September. The day after I was supposed to ovulate, I had horrible abdominal pain around my left ovary. It was so bad, I couldn't even stand up straight and could barely walk. I ended up in the hospital and had a horribly invasive exam with loads of poking and prodding, a swab and an intravaginal ultrasound. THe scan showed a cyst on my left ovary-- probably just a corpus luteum-- and fluid between my ovary and bowel (probably a bit of bleeding).

I though all of the tests and pain probably ruined my chances, and then had horrible cramps all week.

BUT, today af was due (well, more or less I'm quite irregular) and my test showed a blaring :bfp: !

I'm praying it sticks! It's my first ever bfp after ttc nearly 4 years. I have never even seen an evap line before!

I had stage 4 endo and have pcos. DH had a problem with viscosity on one test, but the most recent came up all clear. Fingers crossed that everything goes well!

I just wanted to share my story. I took clomid this cycle from cd3-7 and ovulated cd21. My dr told me there was no way I was going to get pregnant ovulating so late and wanted us to do iui next month. Well I just tested at 11dpo and got a :bfp:!! Good luck to all of you, I hope you get your :bfp:s soon!!

How are you ladies today? Anyone else get a bfp yet?! I'm 8dpo and I know it is early but I will start testing today!! :) I'm not being monitored so i'm a bit nervous...I'm currently having cramps, very very sore nipples sorry tmi and thick white cm. I've been naseous and tired.
 
TTC for about 20 months, OH's SA was OK but could be better!! I wasn't ovulating... I got my BFP on 1st round of Clomid 50mg :D
 
yay thanks for sharing your story!! Congrats to you :) My DH sa was ok also, but not great by any means, and they can't find a thing wrong w/ me...on my first round of 50 mg. cd 5-9. What days did you take it and how many dpo were you when you got your bfp?
 
I am in my first clomid TWW ... trying not to get my hopes up!
 
I'm in the TWW ovulated CD16 or CD17 waiting for temps to confirm.. fingers crossed :dust:
 
All these stories are great, i just finished my 1st round of clomid cd5-9 on Saturday!!! baby dust to us all!!!

I think I may have taken it CD 2-6. I ovulated on CD11 (I had a scan to see if it worked and they told me the exact day I should ovulate! which was great news). I didn't want to be dissapointed by testing too early so planned to wait for AF. Then I think I was 14DPO (4 weeks preg) and was driving myself mad thinking about my sore and veiny boobs so decided to shut myself up and tested! Pretty sure I felt crampiness right from implantation for weeks as well, but everyone's different. Good luck :flower:
 
Thank you for your story that is wonderful!!! Today is 9dpo and bfn:( I know it's still early though... I'm having cramps very sore bbs sorry tmi creamy cm and it seems like nothing tastes right to me! And very moody today and tired
 
Of course that could all be signs of AF to come (apart from CM...), I forgot to mention the morning of the day I tested I was walking to work and felt so much CM that I though it was AF which had my mind racing all day!
 
Well update for me:( the witch got me today...on my bday how cruel! I really didn't think this was our Month Bc we only got to bd on the day before o and I was on all kinds of meds for an accessed tooth! Good luck to all of you ladies!!! How is everyone doing?
