1st time

Good morning, this is my first time chatting with everyone.
I went to my doctor yesterday to talk about artificial insemenation.
I am starting the process next week. Very nervous, but excited!!
Has anyone gone through this experience before?
I would like some insight..

I had my first IUI 2 weeks ago. I had to come in when I was on day 5 of my period then come back a week and a half later for my baseline ultrasound. That same night they have me a trigger shot then 2 days later I got my IUI. It wasn't painful at all. It's just like getting a pap. I started taking pregnancy tests day 4 post IUI but it turned out negative. I took another pregnancy test day 11 then day 13 and I saw a faint line! Had my beta results yesterday which confirmed I was pregnant don't be intimidated with the horror stories be a use its not true! The only thing I experiences was major bloating afterwards.
