1st ultrasound 7 weeks 4 days and baby measuring 6 weeks 1day

Hi! I had my confirmation ultrasound today according to my last period, I should be 7 weeks 4 days. But the baby was measuring 6 week and 1 day with a heart rate of 108. The doctor didn't seem to be worried he told me this happens often. I can not help to be worried though. I used and ovulation kit and I know when my LH surge was. Can anyone else tell me if this has happened to them and what their outcome was!?

Something similar happened to me an unfortunately it was not a good outcome. But I've seen plenty of stories on here where baby eventually caught up or dates were just off. Those early scans can be unpredictable sometimes.
