2 days late. Cramping but no AF. This has NEVER happened before.

So I took an HPT two days ago, and of course it was a , anyway, I have been having some pain in my left side (now) that is like pinching on the inside. It has been transitioning for the last week or so. I just got the spins too! I got super dizzy. My eye was twitching non-stop yesterday, but I think that may have been due to my recent lack of sleep. I have been having some horrible insomnia! I am SO tired, but I cannot get to sleep at night. I have been REALLY grumpy with the DH. And I have some yellow-ish CM. The only time prior to my period that I get cramps is like two weeks before. This time, (only time EVER) I have been having cramps for a week. My period was also due yesterday, but I am still waiting because the seems to like to sneak up on me a few days after she came the month before. Anyway, I am very hopeful because I have never felt like this! Also, yesterday I had to pee so much! It was very uncomfortable. Every hour or so. I am so hoping this is it, and I just got a because HPT's hate me. but keep me in your prayers! I am sooooo excited to hopefully have my baby cookin!

Hey! Didn't want to r&r and I'm not sure what's going on but are you sure you OVed? I know sometimes you can experience AF-like cramps with OV. If it happened later in this cycle han it did in the others, as stress and other factors can sometimes make it do, then it could be that. Sorry I'm not more help! To tell you the truth, I am not sure when I OV'd. All I have is that ovulation calendar predictor. Is it possible to ovulate the day your period is due? Or that week anyway, cause if it is, then that may very well be it.

Yeah apparently, after reading a lot of posts in this forum, every now and then your cycle may go longer than you predicted, so you OV later than what you thought. If you track temps and CM it's easier to tell. I just started temping, but I do use OPKs... I haven't OVed in a couple months and was put on meds to help. Hope that helps!

Thank you. Well, if I am not pregnant this month, I may do the OPK's and the temp. I am not sure though. I want a baby, I just wish it was as easy for me as it seems to be for all other people who barely try and hit it head on. Thanks for the advice

Lol I understand, I think most of us never thought it would take this long or take such a toll on our emotions. I know I read most couples conceive by the 3rd month. Seems so unfair that there are so many women Doug every possible thing to have a baby and strike out and there are people who don't even want to be a parent and get their BFP. The world works in mysterious ways.

I have yet to see AF. I am not too hopeful because she came 11 days late last month, but this month she is 4 days late. My cycles have NEVER been this long. I hope it doesn't mean I'm not ovulating. Anyway, I have been having some terrible groin pains. It hurts to even touch them. My nipples have also been terribly sensitive for the last week or so. That typically happens when I am going to get AF. However today, my left breast is pulsing. It hurts all over like it is bruised. I am also pretty sure they are swollen. It may be aunt flow but I am not sure. I am making DH go and buy me some more HPT's. I've had two BFN's. I don't know if I should take another? What do you guys think? I am desperate to take one and see. However, I've taken an endless amount of tests and I HATE seeing the negative. It kills me. I just want to see that positive. Ugh.

I don't see any harm in taking another test (aside from making you sad if it is negative). Have you tried keeping a chart or little calendar to mark when your periods arrive and the blood flow, etc? I thought that my periods were always irregular, but when I started writing them out on my calendar they were actually very regular. I relied on my husband to tell me when I was expecting my period. It may help if there is something strange going on with ovulation and the doctor asks. You can just hand over the calendar.

Just before my BFP I had terrible cramping in my hips, low back, and groin area. I've never had tenderness in my breasts and I wish they'd fall off sometimes, but that's a different story. Each pregnancy is different and that is one of the more common symptoms. I believe my cramping was 5 or 6 days before my BFP on a digital test, so I'm guessing implantation cramps maybe? A lot of early pregnancy signs are also signs of AF, which makes it even more annoying. I was certain that I was getting AF and didn't want to test because of the cramps. My husband pretty much forced me because he thought I was late (I must have some wicked mood swings for him to be so in tune...).

I agree, the best way to monitor your cycle and body is temping/charting!! It's not that much work, and crucial. Many girls think they are late when in fact they are not, coz it all just depends on the O date. Then they keep stressing which might affect AF (although just a day or two, not 11), and the hormonal balance gets of out order. I am certain that's my current cycle, ugh.

I am suspposed to get AF today or tomorrow and the weight is killing me. I will go crazy if I end up being late and still get BFNs. I took a test 2 days ago and it was negative. I will probably wait until friday before I test again if AF doesn't show.

Hi Noodle AF is still late. 4 days now. Its killing me. I've taken 3 HPT's in the last week and all negative. So I dont know!

I read somewhere that those tests don't work on everyone or sometimes you have to wait until you are 5 weeks pregnant. Do you know what day you ovulated? I read that you get your period between 10-16 days after ovulation. So if you are sure about your ovulation date and it has been 16 days then good chance you are pregnant..

I sure hope so! I am not really sure when I did. I did the whole ovulation calendar thing online. I am not using OPK's or temping. I think I ovulated like 2 weeks ago, maybe? I am not sure. My period was super late last month, and this month looks like it may be the same. I hope I ovulated recently because DH and I have been actively trying. I have tried to relax more and all that. My left breast really hurt yesterday. I could barely touch it without being in pain. I was laying on my stomach last night and it hurt too bad to do that. It is all so strange!

Hey Noodle! Nope, AF has yet to show. It's driving me crazy. I took an HPT yesterday morning and it was a BFN of course. My DH keeps encouraging me, and saying that I probably am, I just don't know it. I really hope so. I have a few symptoms I guess. My stomach hurts all over, like I did an intense Ab workout. I also have been SUPER tired in the mornings, mid-day, and usually at night. I've had some crazy insomnia, and about a week ago, I had really weird cramping. The DH and I did it a few nights ago, and I went to the bathroom and had a TINY light pink dot on the paper when I wiped. That was it though I don't really know what is happening with my body!

Will do. I am sorry about the but since you just started trying, the first month for most women is a no-show. Hopefully you get pregnant quickly. It would be awesome for you! I will keep my fx'd for you.
Update on me-AF is still a no show. Yesterday after BD'ing with DH I had a tiny pink smear again! Nothing substantial though. I really don't know whats going on. Its all so strange!

Reynolds V I know it has been a while ago but just wondering if you were actually pregnant or not? I have been having light cramps for about a week now before my period which I have NEVER had before. I only ever start cramping the day my period starts but still no period yet. I have taken several negative tests but this morning I thought I had a really faint positive but cant be sure yet. Just wondering if you actually were pregnant or not. Thanks!
