2 DPO 3/21 looking for tww partner in crime

Hey girls sorry I've been mia again. It's hard when working new job and trying to not be on phone. Loving the job also by the way! It's slowing paced and close to home so don't feel completely drained when getting home. Y'all have been busy while I've been gone!! Glad to see some bfp!!!! Congratulations!!! I'm still spotting but it's picking up more and brighter red. I should start tomorrow or next day. Think I'm just gonna have glass of wine tonight and try and relax in hot tub! Pink I use soft cups during menstruation to but only on slow days. I can't use them when it's heavy as they fill up way too fast and leak really bad when I move but on my slow day I love them!!

So to toot the horn of the diva cup (or similar, lol), I totally forgot I had my period yesterday.
I normally empty my menstrual cup every 12 hours or so unless my flow is very heavy. But in the morning I had to deal with DS and I left the bathroom without doing it, meaning to go back soon. But I forgot.
I suddenly remembered after lunch at my aunt's house when I had to pee!
It's been ages since that happened to me.

Yay for the raging bfp Hopeful!!
So awesome!

And sorry to everyone who AF caught....

I'm cd4 today and AF is slowly tapering off I think.

I was looking into menstrual cups just before we ttc. You only hear good things so I will have to try.

Have any of you tried using soy isoflavones? I have been researching them and not sure whether to try or not. It can help the egg be healthy and depending on what 5 days in your cycle you take it, it can encourage more eggs to be released so you have a higher chance of multiples. I haven't done all that much research yet but was curious if anyone had tried :)

I tried it once before conceiving DD, but I can't remember if it did anything?! I still have some.. o was also seeing something about vitex???

So, got the results of the blood test, didn't happen for us this cycle :nope:

Stopping the crinone and on to ivf next cycle. I've been trying to find a thread of little tips and suggestions to improve the follicle size/quantity.

I've heard mucinex, baby aspirin, do you guys know if these work or have any others? Last cycle I just took pn vitamins and letrizole before the O.

I forget what some tips for the guys are to optimize the sc.
Hopefully next cycle is the one for all of us, except hopeful of course! :happydance:

New sorry to hear about your results. Hopefully you will have success with the ivf! I'm calling specialist next week to see about get appt arranged to see what we can do to help us. I take prenatal, 81 aspirin and progesterone after ovulation. Do you use preseed? We used it last cycle and actually really liked it but I've heard a lot of success stories with it. I think diet can be a lot into helping the sperm. I've heard also of ppl giving their dh vitex to help but I don't know much about it.

Thx belly that's really helpful!
We are very lucky that's our health plan covers ivf so jumping in with both feet.
I have heard of preseed, will definitely look into that and vitex. What is aspirin 81 and what does it do?

We have a 3 hours consult on Monday with re so feel free to ask if you have any questions about ivf!

My Dr told me to take aspirin (it's an Nsaid, like ibuprofen or Advil) as it can lower the risk of mc by making sure there's not tiny clots that can get lodged in the umbilical cord at very early on in pregnancy because as fetus is forming there is one point where only one blood cell at a time can fit through it. If clot was present it would prevent blood flow to fetus which would of course cause mc. Our insurance only covers 20% of infertility so that's really nice yours covers it. What state are you in just out of curiosity?

Oh I see, and you take that from cd1?
We are based out of Illinois which is one of the 11 states that follows the infertility mandate, requiring he providers to provide a certain amount of coverage towards infertility.

With the crazy cost of fertility treatments abroad, I'm really relieved we have nationalised healthcare here.
Couples suffering from infertility can get IVF treatments until they're successful, for up to four kids, and in certain circumstances (usually for families who have all one sex) including gender selection.

New horizon I'm Sorry about your Results! I Hope this next cycle /ivf is your turn for a bfp!!
