2 forms of I.D?

I'm in the UK + We're applying for a house + it said 2 forms of I.D. Now, I have my driving licence so I can use that, but my passport is packed away at my mums and she's moving so I can't get to it but I need to send off the info asap.

Anyone know what other I.D I could use?

errrm bank statement or utility bill at your current address..? Im sure there are others, mind has gone blank

I've gotta take proof of address as well as 2 forms of I.D

Does it HAVE to be photo- id?

Can you phone them and ask what they would accept as an alternative to a passport? Somtimes the bankstatemnts or bills can do as both as have your name as well as address on. Im sure ive used them as ID in the past when at bank etc.

I don't know. I woulda thought 1 form of photo I.D was enough + maybe my birth certificate?

BC is perfect, not everyone people have a driving licence and/or passprt

Thank you! I'll give them a ring first thing tomorrow morning just to make sure. My OH freeks out about taking EVERYTHING he has I.D-wise + I don't want to take everything incase I lose it, IYKWIM?

Birth certiqificate would work fine.
