My nearly 2 month old baby is struggling with wheezing and gasping for breath after feeds been to the doctors 3 times each time they have said its normal surly this is NOT normal during and after feeds the wheezing gets really bad lasts about up to 30 to 40 minutes so i have

Elavated her cot / feed her with her almost sitting up
put her on nutramigen lipil 1 for the last 2 weeks was massive improvement when we first started the milk but for the past 4 days wheezing come back and its bad
doctor prescribed a nebulizer mask to help her breath
is anyone going through this i feel so sorry for her any advise will be so appreciated xx

My lo is similar but the paediatrician thinks its the stomach acid rattling in her throat.

Oh gosh, poor little one and poor you :(

I would go to another doctors and get another opinion. You're right, it is not normal.

I don't want to scare you, but my daughter was born with a murmur (hole in her heart) and one of the symptoms they told me to look out for was shortness of breath during feeds.

Please go see another doctor :hugs:
