Got my MRI scan date through its on tuesday at 4:40 so i havent got to wait that long.

Just had a read up on it and there's a lot of positive stories. Try and keep thinking positive. Why do you have to have a MRI? X

DDs MRI even after she was born didn't show CCAM conclusively, it showed patterns which could be CCAM, but it was only her lung biopsy which they said would be definitive. Only saying this because I was surprised that an MRI in utero is being done if they couldn't get clear answers from one on a born child, so it may possibly be another piece of the puzzle situation rather than a definite answer. They even waited to do the MRI until a new one was purchased and installed at a hospital 50 miles away, as the existing ones in the local area took them at a standard resolution and the new one in the specialist heart-lung centre would have a greater resolution.

This is a specialist MRI scan that im having done.. ive got to drive an hr away to get to the place where they do it.
They want to do the MRI because they carnt pin point what it is, they said it could he the ccam or another condition which is even more dangerous and thats where the tube from the wind pipe is not conected to the rest of the body (blockage)
What ever it is its made both lungs brighter than what there suppose to be so they need to get it checked out.

Hi everyone ive been for my MRI scan and the doctor said she carnt see anything wrong with the lungs. I will need to have regular scans just to check it doesnt change and she carnt say there 100% ok but fingers crossed everything is ok. Thankyou for the support everyone xx**
