Im peed off with my docs and now im a nervous wreck.

My cycle is normally 31 to 35 days long usually id say 32. 2 cycles ago i was a month late before af arrived. Because of that lastcycle was off and was 26 days long. My lp is usually 10 days. So everything i read says 7dpo. I could gt an appointment so had bloods 8dpo. One of the docs i have spoke to said a day or 2 out doesnt matter.

So i have a bbt increase cm o pain pretty sure i od. But my progesterone comes back at 12 so its abnormal. I speak to this uncaring female doc who said i had it on the wrong day its supposed to be 7 days before ur period but insaid i have a 10 day lp not 14. I asked questions and my answers were like she was reading from a text book. In short on nhs as i have a child she wont do any more bloods as no point my cycles are abnormal. She wont refer as i have a child. She said i have a child and bbt increases so cant have progesterone problem.

So my q is is she right? All.my hormones are ok slightly high lh could have pcos but not high enough to cause problems. Im now more worried than i was before. Cant afford private. Does anyone know when i should have taken the bloods is it 3 ir 7 on my short cycle. I am convinved i od. She basically said i myst have progesterone to have carried my son. Also i have been take red clover to balance and as i have not conceived on the susun weed website it says to start vitex which i am on my 2nd cycle. I spoke to.some other users on here and with my short lp and some cycles i spot a few days early and occasionally very rarely have a 9 day lp happened twice in about 2 yrs. Is there a chance the vitex lowered ny progesterone? I conceived after a yr by using red clover to have my son so i know its not the red clover :(

It sounds like you did your blood test at the right time. 7 DPO is generally what's recommended. Your LP is short which is probably why you had a low result then. I also regularly got increases in BBT but my RE said I do not ovulate and that BBT isn't accurate for PCOS.

Unfortunately if you cannot get in to see another specialist and can't afford to see a private doctor, your options are limited. Vitex might help and maybe inositol too. They take 3-6 months to start working properly. Have a read about Soy Isoflavenes.
