23 days late and frustrated

Hey all! As of today I am 23 days late. I am on day 51 of my cycle and my last AF was July 16th. I have had one very faint positive hpt and 3 or 4 negative hpts. I went to the obgyn today and she did a urine test which also came back negative my husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year and this is so frustrating! My period is always normal (give or take a few days). I have been nauseous but not getting sick and extremely tired.. maybe my body is playing with me. Has anyone else gone through this and still been pregnant or am i just getting my hopes up? I feel like i am but according all but one test i am not.

I'm surprised your doctor didn't do a blood test. I've heard stories of women whose urine tests continually came back negative but the first blood test they had done was a positive. That's just strange to have a normal cycle and still not have an AF in almost two months...

Thats what I was hoping they would do. Plus my appointment was around lunch and I had been drinking water which I've heard dilutes the levels in urine. She offered to give me a pill to help AF along but I don't want to do that until I'm completely convinced that I am not pregnant.

I found out at 2&half month that I m preggo...urine test never showed positive blood test came positive

My mom didn't have a positive pregnancy urine test but felt pregnant. The doctor took a urine test and sent her home 'not pregnant'

She went in a week later and made him do a blood test - it came back VERY positive.

(Also she had an IUD this entire time - and had it taken out as soon as it was confirmed)

Thanks for all the replies! I am now 32 days late! I have gotten two faint positive hpts and I think 5 negatives. I am going to get a quantitative hcg blood test on the 18th if AF doesn't show before then! I have missed two AF visits though so im still hopeful!

Af came at 9 pm last night.. im so upset... i want to just hit something! 34 days late??!!! What a completely cruel joke!!

So, sorry to hear that anoel - you might still want to get checked with obgyn that it was not a mc, based on your cycles always being regular.
