My FSH level was actually a little higher than yours at 12.9 when I was 30, and we just got pregnant with number 3 with one "try" so you are definitely not doomed. A little background on my fertility - I got pregnant with my first at 27 with about 2 tries. After him, we NTNP and got pregnant again after what would be equal to two attempts. Unfortunately, that one ended in a miscarriage and D&C. After trying everything we could thing of for a year, we finally went to a specialist and learned my FSH was high. After reading online, I was convinced even IVF would be a long shot. Turns out I got pregnant my first cycle after the test to check my tubes. I'm convinced they were somewhat blocked from the D&C. Anyways, we are on to #3 after not being very "careful" (and being convinced I wasn't very fertile).
Was your AMH normal? I think it's a little different if that's also low. My AMH was still within normal limits at that time.
I would be more concerned with fixing your luteal phase as it would be very difficult to get pregnant with that short of a phase. If you are still breastfeeding that could definitely be shortening it.
Good luck!
