Hi everyone... I know this is asked a lot but just wondering how many feel the same way... Im 27 weeks tomorrow and still really don't feel my little girl much. Here and there i feel her very low and to the left but not much and nothing consistent and no pattern. I have tried all the little tricks like cold juice etc... She just doesn't seem to respond.:-( it makes me so sad when i see posts about people who have a boxing match in their tummy and me not much! This is my first and i do have anterior placenta but thought by now things would feel stronger even with an anterior placenta! Thanks! By the way I just realized that I should be posting in third tri... But so use to being here!lol

Are you of larger size? , i have read that some larger women feel a lot less movement, i have an anterior placenta & feel lots now , however I also have a very low lying placenta - that might have something to do with why I can feel so much !

Have you mentioned it to the doctor? She may be in distress if she's not moving adequately. The only way I knew something was wrong with my daughter was the lack of movement (though I felt her every day for weeks before).

I have days with quite a bit of of movement and days like today with little movement, maybe 2 or 3 kicks all day so far, and a few flutters. I know they say to keep an eye on changes in movement but I can't keep track of this kid, she changes everyday lol

I'm 24 weeks on Tuedsay and feel my little girl very little :(
I had a scan yesterday and everything was fine and the doctor said not to worry if I can't feel here properly yet. Although he was a little surprised as she was wriggling about like crazy.
Don't worry hun, the time will come where we will feel our babies :)
If you are concerned, talk to the MW, thats what they are here for! xx

i didn't feel my daughter till 26 weeks, then it was very infrequent, maybe once every 3 days or so... right up until delivery, she'd roll over but never really kick, i can could the kicks i felt on one hand.

i'm not saying don't get it checked out, but not every pregnancy is text book. Each baby is different, medics freaked when i said she hadn't moved in 2 days but to me that was normal and she felt fine (it's odd to hear but you'll know what i mean)

No I am pretty average... I weighed 135 lbs at 5 foot 5 pre pregnancy and now weigh 153... Don't think it's too bad...I posted in 3rd trimester and many ladies wrote it will happen in a couple of weeks...

I have mentioned it and he didn't seem concerned... He told me to start monitoring things more after 28 weeks... But will mention it again next time...

Yah I guess it's because you hear so many others talk about the kicks and constant feeling... There have been a few days where I have felt her a lot but mostly she is quiet! Thanks for your kind words! It is helpful!

I've NEVER really felt her all that much. I mean, she moves every day and I feel small movements, but I've never gotten a "boxing match". I've never even gotten a jab. If she had been moving tons and tons it would worry me, but it's always been rather gentle.

I asked my doctor about it this past Monday, and she said to go by how SHE moves, not by the book. With that being said, if I didn't feel her at all for a while, I'd go in to be checked.

:flower:

Hi just to say as long as you feel her regularly at this stage it's fine. They say to monitor after 28 and even then not 10 kicks an your the midwife laughed as did the labor when I told them women on the Internet were saying that. Plus everyone is different every pregnancy and midwife said 'since when do babies have routine?? You will just know after 28-30 If a pattern has changed but 9/10 everything is come.

26 week with a girl who does roll and kick softly but nt a kick boxer and I was the same In the womb. I have anterior placenta too.also labour ward say if you feel baby everyday it's fine! Doesn't have to be every hour, strong kicks etc. But get checked if you are worried bet she is fine.God bless

My DD used to get going at 1:00/2:00 so maybe yours is a night owl too but you're sleeping through it? I really struggled to get to sleep during that pregnancy so I was ready and waiting when she woke up! :hugs:
