27 weeks & baby weighs 2lbs 10oz already

Hi Ladies i shall be moving over here from 2nd Trimester as of this weekend. So looking forward to getting to know you all

Had my 4D scan this morning & it was brilliant, such clear piccies & i got 34 4D ones in total so have a lovely collection of them...

They reckon he weighs roughly 2lbs 10oz already im 27 weeks on Monday & at 27 weeks they say roughly they weigh 2lbs 3oz so he is measuring ahead already

I have been told & know to expect a big baby this time around as my son who is 6 was 9lbs 3oz at birth at 39+5

Just wondered if anyone had a rough guess weight at about this many weeks & what your baby was weighing in at?????

I had a scan at 27 weeks and mine weighed nearly 3lbs. The doctor showed me a graph of the weight gain etc, and it is only just over average, but well within the range expected at that stage. They said i am pretty much spot on for where i should be. I have another scan a week on monday to see how the growth is then.

at 28 weeks Oliver was 2lb 13oz at birth (40 weeks exactly) he was 7lb 5oz

i think the fact that your son was quite big is more of a sign that this one will be than the weight at this stage from a scan

That's EXACTLY what mine weighed at 29 weeks and she's stayed steady in the 50 percentile range so yours cant be THAT much ahead.

My DD weighed 2lb 8oz at 28 weeks and was 8lb 8oz at birth (39+6)

my baby weighed 3lb 6oz when I had a scan at 28 weeks, just ahead of u. they still told me that was within the normal range though

my baby is 3 lbs 11 oz at 30 weeks! hes a BIG boy! Im scared!

My LO was estimated at 3lbs 7oz at 30 weeks. That's still within normal range although I have Type 1 Diabetes so am expecting a bigger baby x

Im the same as you then at the mo i shall keep a eye on what your new little one weighs in at when born

With my last pregnancy they told me she was a tiny baby, i had 2 4d scans and 4 growth scans - my last at 35 weeks, they were telling me if i got to 40 weeks she would be a maximum of 5lb 4-6...she was born 8 days later at 36wks weighing 6lb 10! If i'd have gotten to 40 weeks or beyond she'd likely have been a big baby. I'd take it with a pinch of salt sweetie xx

I had a 4D scan today (30+3 wk) and LO is estimated at 3lb 15 oz. He was estimated as 2lb 3oz at 26+3wk. Reading through the weights they all seem to be around the same area give or take a few ounces. There is no way you can tell how rapid weight gain will be, they say the average is 1/2 lb per week but this varies and some babies actually lose weight just before they are born as well as just after so I guess what will be will be. The way I see if, if Liz Hurley managed to give birth to that son of hers (she is tiny and he was over 10lb - practically a toddler!) then I can do it!

I had an ultrasound at 28wks and my baby girl was estimated to be 2lbs 9oz

I My son was an 8lb 1oz baby and I'm thinking this girl to be 8 1/2+ closer to 9lbs
