hey y'all.

I'm 28 (29 in a few months). I'm looking for ltttc buddies to make this journey a little easier. I've been trying for 7 years as of Nov 10, and have yet to have a lo. Everyone around me is falling pregnant, and its starting to get very hard to take -- ok, harder than normal.

I have pcos and hypothyroidism. I have my first FS in Nov, if I can get the time scheduled off work. i am also going thru divorce, and turning to a donor, which means most likely i'll be finding out about IUIs.

Hi welcome to the forum know how you feel about everyone around you being pregnant.

Hi,
I'm 28 too. Everyone in my life is pregnant too! Feels terrible but I do have hope. I'm seeing FS in 2 days! X

Hey I'm 28 too, 29 in 4 months... Been ttc for 23 months now, had 3 appointments with fs and I'm scheduled for lap and dye op end of October.

No known issues yet apart from slightly low progesterone but fs says I'm still ovulating and oh is perfect.

Fx for all our bfp very soon ;-) x

I'm 34 LTTTC #1 for 11 years, about 2 years with DH and the previous years with my EX. I have my 'first' FS appointment, well my first this time round on 16th Oct so hopefully will get some more answers soon. His first SA was bad (but he did have alcohol the night before :dohh: Second was fine (funny that! lol) My tests from 9 years ago we not good, no / infrequent ovulation, this time round all is looking so much better but still no BFP (ever)! i have short 22/23 day cycles and a 9/10 day LP which i think is the problem, i also think i have endo but have been told my BMI is too high for a lap! Once i see FS DR/nurse i know i will be scheduled for HSG (finally!) and hopefully find a way to becoming a mummy!

I'm always reluctant to join 'buddy groups' because many many times i'm the only one left not PG and everyone moves on (as is now happening again on another forum.. another BFP announced this mornning :( ) However here i truly hope everyone gets their BFP very soon as i think we've waited long enough!!

i totally know how you feel about joining groups, etc. i generally stay away from them, but i figured maybe, just maybe, i can find people who are having problems, just like i am. i'm ALWAYS the last one in everything.

my cycles are 32 - 46 days and my lp is anywhere from 8-12 days. ive been told i have PCOS, yet no real signs of it ---- starting with no cysts!!:dohh:

Hello ladies! Thanks for stopping in!

Hopefully this thread will pop and we'll find support in grand numbers!

I'm getting pretty sick of all the newborn pictures, bumps and bfps out there. i know its probably mean, but i can't help it anymore. i want mine, yet I can't have it. Some days it makes me wanna throw a 2 year old tantrum... and one day, i just might! :)

hi everyone, complete;y understand how you feel.

im 29 (30 in march:growl mad:), dh is 28, and everything is coming back normal so far. lap scheduled for nov 7th. we've been ttc for 16 months, which i know in ttc is not really that long but I'm absolutely sick of seeing other peoples children/babies and bumps...especially when they moan about it!

Im alsao the only one in my last group not pg (ttc after loss- i had an rely miscarriage last christmas day). I'm planning for iui after the lap, still in my mind I'm wishing for a bfp before this christmas so its a better day than last year, but I'm giving up now on wishing on my bfp!

Hi ladies, I'm 28 (just!) and my partner is 37. Hope you don't mind me joining you, I haven't joined a buddy group either as I too worry we'll get left behind. Most of my friends have now settled down and have children, I'm ashamed to say, that to my dismay many are having their second or third whilst we can't even conceive no. 1. I try to remain positive but some days, it can be so difficult and so confusing.

My glimmer of hope comes in the shape of my mothers neighbour. She has been trying for years, and has recently managed with assisted reproduction, to have two healthy twin boys. There's always a chance! I hope all of ours isn't too far away. :-)

I have been TTC nearly 3 years in total. I am on my 6th cycle with OH. The rest were with my ex.

I have had a early MC, and ectopic and I now have one damaged tube and PCOS. OH is going for a SA hopefully next month (he sees our GP for referral a week Monday).

I'm 25.

Looks like we can all identify with each other in here.

Don't mind if I join in?

xxx

Hi Becca, nice to meet you. FX'd it all goes well with your OH, you'll have to keep us updated. x

I'm 25...DH is 31
We have been TTC (our first together, but DH's 3rd) for 3yrs and 4months.
We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility...everything normal on my end and DH has very healthy swimmers...or as he says he's "all man" lol.
We have just completed our first cycle of IUI on 9/15/12 with 50mg of Clomid and a trigger shot of Ovidrel and vaginal inserts of Progestrone and Estrol (lining was a little thin because of the clomid); we find out on October 1st whether we had one of our two mature follicles stuck or not (which I don't feel as either did).
My RE has us on a 6 cycle plan of IUI (with one down) and then IVF. We're praying that one of the IUI cycles works because IVF is extremely expensive..and I don't know if I can handle, after 6 failed IUI's, IVF not working either :-(

Will do.

It's a bit hard to find some where to fit in on here sometimes. Like I'm LTTTC but not because we are only on our 6th cycle together. Nightmare. Glad I found you guys.

xxx

Hey rain angel.... We are very close in age, I'm 29 in feb ;-( (unhappy face)!!!
Oh well as Long as us ladies stick together with the positive vibes we will all get our bfp very soon....fx ...

Hello new people! Welcome aboard!

I've decided if I don't get it done with IUI, i'll quit. I can't afford IVF.

Becca - Anybody fits in here. :flower: everybody's welcome.

Dolly - I'm not looking forward to 29. I feel old.

I agree with those of you who have joined and got left behind, or havent joined because of being left behind. I've been on too many group pages where a) they all got pregnant at once b) they left or c) there was no real talking, etc going on. That's the idea behind this thread. We're not just ttc - we're ltttc. we need people like US to talk to. we understand it more than the ttcers.

I was in the office today wrapping a present (while the boss was out! lol) for my BFF who had a baby girl on thursday! (so happy or her, but sad for me) and it struck a discussion about kids with the 2 girls left in there.... 1 i get on really well with and she knows my struggles, the other i don't really know despite working with her for nearly a year!

I knew she had been off sick recently and I suspected PG - but nothing was said to me so i didn't ask. Turns out she was PG and suffered a MC at 8 weeks with twins  Also... she was told she would never have kids as a teenager and is going through the exact same testing as me right now!

So at last i have someone face to face who TRULY knows how it feels to LTTTC and what we have to go through!

Hope everyone is doing ok :) x

I went to my first FS appointment yesterday. I expected to come away feeling positive but i burst out crying as soon as we got back in the car. It just seemed so negative.

Hubby has low sperm count and low number of healthy sperm - so is getting it repeated. I have irregular cycles 30-47 days and LP of 7-15 days. I am having a scan soon to see if i have pcos and ive got a low BMI, so need to put on weight.

Hope you lovely ladies are all well x

Shell - having a person face to face is amazing!

MrsBroody - :hugs: there's all kinds of things they can do to help. :hugs:

AFM: i spent a better part of my night on skype with a pregnant friend. she's only been trying for about a year, i think. She's 5 months along. it seems so freakin unfair!
