Hi there
Hoping some of you ladies might be able to help. I'm expecting my first baby in June and have been feeling movement since about 16 weeks, lots of kicks, punches etc but in the last couple of days the movement has changed, it is a lot softer now and there doesn't seem to be any big kicks anymore, it's more like limbs brushing against me. I know that movement changes when baby runs out of room but surely at 28 weeks this is too early and the change was quite quick, it didn't happen over a period of weeks. I spoke to my midwife about it and she said as long as i'm still feeling 10 movements/day then it's fine and I do feel at least 10 they just feel so different to what i'm used to. My fundal measurements put me two weeks ahead so maybe i'm just growing a big baby? I also have an amniotic band/sheet which cuts off part of my uterus - the midwife and sonographers didn't seem too concerned about it but it has made me paranoid about baby getting limbs trapped, running out of space etc. If I carry on measuring big they will give me a growth scan at 36 weeks but that still seems so far away. Has anyone else noticed a similar change in movement around this time? Thank you
