i was feeling huge and uncomfy. but these past few days ive slept all night and dont feel as massive. everyone else says i look ready to drop tho. and the midwife measured me on thurs and said my then 27wk twin bump measured at 35wks.

im 28 wks today and although im suffereing crippling heartburn, sciatica, and pelvic pain, braxton hicks and peeing more than first tri, i dont feel as uncomfy when im sitting down. when i walk however, i feel like my insides are about to fall out my foof and that ill wet myself at any given moment.

I feel huge too, went to my first antenatal class on fri, and all the women were tiny compared to me, even though we're all roughly the same due date!! I fee like such a hippo :(

I just looked at a post in the multiples section, saying "how much bigger will I get" or something like that.. The lady that posted it is 28 weeks and so am I... Anyway there was a twin mum on there called 'indifference' that showed a bump progression, and at 28 weeks she was about all of our size... At 37 weeks her tummy had grown SO big and was starting to hang off her and looked so so so uncomfortable! I cant even imagine getting to that stage!! I will tho... No choice!

Yikes! But your boys are worth it :)

I feel huge too, I even had a guy ask me if I was having twins!

It's weird... I went to my midwife last Friday at 28 weeks and she told me I'm measuring 33 weeks. But I don't feel huge at all?!

I'm at work at can't post a pic but will soon. I'm just wondering how common it is to measure so far ahead?!

Ches at 21 weeks I was measuring 31 weeks, then at 25 weeks I was still measuring 31-32 weeks, and now at 28 I dont really feel much bigger! My MW said that it depends what position baby's in sometimes, if they are floating up high then it can make you measure big while still looking small. Or else you have a monster baby! But you look teeny in your pic, cant see you having a giant!

Haha that pic was taken 9 weeks ago! Need to post an updated pic soon. Yea I'm hoping it's fluid or something and he just had a big growth spurt. I was 4.3 kgs so hoping he doesnt take after me.

Usually if the mother is a decent sized birth weight her babies are as well...
But not always as big, I was 5kg and my DD was 4.4kg and DS 4.2, so at least they weren't as big. Then again my mum was only 4.2kg but was 2 weeks early. It's kinda cool having a big baby tho, they look really cute and chubby and you feel like they are really healthy and robust :) And when pushing a head out of your vagina, it's more about head circumfrence than birth weight that matters I reckon!

I was told I had an 80% chance of having a breech baby and would need a c-section... Instead he's head down and 4/5 palpable so it looks like I could definitely be having a natural birth. I haven't even considered pushing a baby out, let alone a whopper so it's a little scary. I love the look of big chubby babies though and they do look so healthy and cute. This might be asking too much info, but did you notice any change in sex after having natural births with big babies? Or after tearing/episiotomy? It's something I fear.

Actually no I didnt! I definitely look a bit more 'open' (sorry tmi) down there, and a bit uneven on one side, as the stitches got infected and popped open a few days after getting the episiotomy. But sex still feels the same, and DH reckons there is no difference in feeling for him. There was more of a difference going from being a virgin to a non-virgin, than there was before kids to after kids.
Don't worry too much about the size, there are ladies that have easy big babies that pop out really fast, then you get the ladies that have awful births and end up with 6lb babies! Im really pleased I did them both vaginally, no C sec scar or numbness or overhang! Im not planning on becoming a porn star so I dont really care too much what my vagina looks like up close lol
