I didnt eat as much junk this time round but i had horrific heartburn and was sick after every meal i think thats why i didnt gain as much as first time round
ive lost all my weight already but then i didnt put much on cos i was sooo wary about what i was eating, i ate hardly anything preg which isnt good i know but i was sooo unsure about what i was allowed and what i wasnt lol, i practically lived on a few packets of crisps a day :S
I lost a stone at the beginning and i only put a stone back on again and then i had Ellie and it all came back off and i was a stone lighter than what i was prepregnancy. So i wouldnt change anything.
No, I'd do about the same. I gained 21 lb total, all put on pretty evenly throughout the 9 months, and lost it all really fast. I would go through periods of really healthy eating when I was pregnant, and then there were times I would eat nothing but pizza and chocolate and I'd say, "Oh, it's just pregnancy cravings." Funny how David's 4 months and I still have those 'cravings', lol...
I did second time round, I did eat some rubbish but nowhere near as much as I did the 1st time!
1st pregnancy I put on 5 stone.....second I put on 1.5 stone! and drank loads of water too so didn't swell as much!
If I was doing it again i would be careful cos it is a total nightmare to lose baby weight afterwards!
I didn't put that much weight on during pregnancy as I lost a lot due to morning sickness. But I ate so much for the first few months of breastfeeding that it took ages to lose what I did put on! I'm still a few lbs heavier than I was.
I probably wouldn't eat much differently next time round, but I'll definately make sure I keep fitter and do lots more exercise.
I so would eat differently... like you ema I gained 5 stone... and Im 14lb of pre-preg... but cos I was still a little over weight before I got pregnant... I feel sooooo huge and down about it!! Im also no where near as toned so that makes me feel alot bigger than pre preg...!! How have you lost the weight hun??
well i didnt put on too much weight-about 2 stone i think. it hasnt been that easy to loose it, but mainly because of xmas etc i didnt feel like dieting at xmas! once that was out of the way, ive been walking everywhere and the weight is gradually coming off. my old clothes are fitting me again.
id try to do more exercise, more then watching what i ate to be honest.....being pregnant made me out of breath and felt too heavy to move much!!
Well last time I ate very very well for the 1st 2 tri and was gain just what I was supposed to, but when 3rd tri hit I just ate what I wanted and didn't exercise as much (I just couldn't be bothered when I was that big, lol). I think that when I'm pg with my second it will be easier to not eat badly becasue Kathryn will be old enough to see that I'm eating whatever I want but she still has to eat her veggies, and why does mommy get a whole container of ice cream?! So It'll be hard to eat so many sweets with a kid around.
I tried to eat differently but didn't go to plan, couldn't do any excerise cos of my pelvis, Kira was bigger then Kacy, but i had a smaller bump ????? but loads more weight on with Kira so much more but ate everything in site. even made my Hubby put weight on.
when we try for another will try and do it differently.
it's not the weight i put on as such, but i would eat differently... i wouldn't have any takeaways... it was hard this time as we were living on a development site with no oven for half my pregnancy..... i would be more health conscious during my next one (i think!!!!)
