2nd OB visit..relief!!

I had my 2nd OB visit Thursday, at 12+4.
For a while I had been so scared that we were gonna lose it, or the baby had stopped growing, (the spotting after sex scares the crap outta me), and I was just ready to know that my baby was still there or not.
We went in there, I was hoping for an ultrasound, but nope. Not 'til 18 weeks. :/ That SUCKS. But they used a doppler to listen to the heartbeat and found it within 30 seconds, nice strong heartbeat of 158-9 bpm!!
It was so much relief to hear it this time, I love my little one, and I can't wait to meet him/her.
Thinking of switching my doctor so I can maybe get an earlier ultrasound, I wanna see him/her!
Most people here find out the gender at 15 weeks, but I have the ONE doctor who waits 'til 18 weeks

Thanks you guys. I never thought something so little could mean so much until I heard it. I laughed and cried the first time, I had to hold back tears this time. I wish I could buy a Doppler to listen to it on my own when I'm scared.
