Is it normal to be a bit more crampy when you would have been due on?

This should have been my 2nd period since my last one (hope this makes sense!). My last AF was 18 December.

How many more cycles does this happen for and would you normally expect more discharge/spotting/bleeding with it?

I am only having watery discharge today but feel a bit uncomfortable.

Thanks, Rumps

Do you have really short cycles? Just the quick math in my head, but wouldn't you be due in 10 days? That is if it is an average 28 day cycle which not every woman has. The first day of my last AF was 22nd of Dec.

I think it is pretty normal to feel cramping when the baby enters different growth stages. With my first child, I found out around 7-8 weeks and my cramps were very distinctly menstrual... so much so that it took my friends dragging me to the campus nurse to get me to test because I was so sure my AF was on it's way.

Some women have even experienced light bleeding around each time their cycle was due. Not totally common, but it was enough to lead them to believe that they were having their period and go months without knowing that it wasn't.

I am sure what you're feeling is just a stretching uterus, if you get any extreme back or shoulder pain I would contact your Dr.

Good luck with your scan! I have one on the 9th.

Hi hun, I had exactly same with Ollie specially round 2nd and 3rd period due date and was told it was completely natural, I also had increased discharge.

I saw a consultant at 2nd period I was in that much pain and worry !!

And also the progesterone doesnt help with cramps either - it causes some and also causes discharge, I had a yellow discharge most days and of course got me so paranoid
