3.7mm fluid on the neck..support anyone?

So, i had my scan today, 11 weeks 4 days. Was told theres 3.7mm fluid on the neck, and am now high risk of having a baby with downs or other chromosome abnormality. Then went to have further test and have to wait until next week to find out more, after that will have to have extra scans every 4 weeks to check heart etc. Anyone been through this? Anyone had similar amount of fluid but had a healthy baby? I have 2 little boys, 5 and 3, while pregnant with them i was fine, and not at all nervous or anxious about the scans, this time i sensed something wasnt right Am feeling so sad and scared right now. Also if anyones been through this did they give u a 'number' as to the likelihood of the baby having a problem..mine was 1/50...

My daughters top measurement was 3.4mm. I had a cvs and she was cleared. I was given a 1 in 20 chance of trisomy 13.

Think of it this way, you have a 49 out of 50 chance that your baby is fine.

my bubba has a 9mm thickness and i find out on monday if anything is going on. i have been told everything from it could disappear to bubba won't make it. till all results are in i think i'm going to give him or her every chance and ignore all stats and say for now 100% chance

My youngest son had a measurement of 3.5 mm, though my bloods were fine, but they didn't seem concerned by his NT, I was! He was born perfectly healthy though. Hope you have a healthy LO x

mewannabubba, hope your results come back ok...praying for you little one. the waiting is horrible isnt it, and all the different opinions of what it may be..! get my results on tuesday.

First result has come back with the all clear, has given some hope and calmness...just have to wait for the rest now!

Hi.i had our 13 week scan it showed a measurement of 3mm we are awaiting the blood test results. Its an ivf baby and me being mid 30's has me so stressed and worried
Its hard to be positive. Its is nice to read the other posts on here thanks for sharing. All the best to everyone x
