Ok so I have read that on average a 4.5 month baby should be having around 32oz a day as my baby really is not interested in the bottle anymore i going to give 9oz three bottles ago with fast teat's as I've tried everything and nothing is working .. has anyone else topped up the ounces and cut back the bottles, I'm not sure if you have to have four/five bottles a day. My logic was thinking if he's going that little extra in hours he will hopefully take the bottle as four hours he doesn't seem hungry enough still .. i fed him at 5am 8oz and he's only just wanted a bottle so I gave him 9oz which I had to keep pestering him for about 45 mins to dink and follow his head around as he kept turning away form the bottle ... not force feeding him he just seems to try get away from latching on and when he does he drinks quite good and a large amount till he moves his head away again ...
Plus im actually giving him solids at lunchtime starting from this week, but i dont think thats the cause for him not wanting the bottle as he was playing up long before that...

Holly won't take anything more than she wants, so if we tried to give her bigger bottles she would just stop when she has had enough and we'd be back to the normal routine! The only time she takes a bit more is at night, she's happy to have a good old guzzle then but doesn't go any longer between feeds still!

Alexa has never been a big eater, she's 7.5 months old now and still isn't!
She only has 2-3 bottles a day, which can vary between 4-6oz
up until about 5 months old I could only get her to have 3oz at a time

I now make up the lack of milk in her food, porridge with formula milk, cheese, yoghurts etc
she's always put on weight just fine even though she's not a 'hungry baby'

My sisters little man stopped drinking, but once she started giving him solids he started to drink more milk...weird, but might work for you too...
