We are not trying for a baby, in fact I just changed my contraception to try and prevent one. We were using condoms and almost 2 months ago I changed Micronor (mini pill). My first period on the pill came on time (I seemed to have pre-period bloat for about a week before it came though).
This month I am 3 days late and still no sign on my period. However, I know I missed a pill this month. I actually missed the pill on a day we had sex and took it about 12 hours late. I have a 3 hour window with my pill. I know with micronor you don't have much room for error.
I don't know if its relevant, but I have 2 beautiful girls already. When we did try for them, well it took no trying at all. My husband claims he has supersperm (yes, he would take all the credit), but I don't know if it was down to luck or if we are very fertile/compatible. Obviously, thinking it doesn't take a lot to get me pregnant, is now making my mind go into overdrive.
So now I am 3 days late on my period. I have taken a pregnancy test and its negative. My boobs keep tingling, and I have cramping/twinges in my lower tummy. I think this is my period coming, but I am overthinking it all.
As I say, we are not planning another baby at the moment, in fact timing would be really bad as I start a new job next week. That being said, now I have started to wonder if I am, I think I will have a little bit of disappointment if I am not pregnant. How silly is that.
