3 months pp and I think AF is here :(

Ok so maybe I'm just one of those who get it sooner. My first I ebf and AF returned 4 months pp.

This time around my last AF before getting pregnant was July 4th last year and now July 19th I'm having bloody discharge which could only be the beginning of AF right? I'm ebf and my lil boy still wakes in the night to feed and feeds a lot throughout the day.

How soon did you get yours? I'm sure there are ladies out there who get it even sooner? X

ETA: woke up this morning to nothing! How strange?! I do feel slightly crampy but that's all

That's pretty soon to get AF back. With both my DD's I got AF back around 7-8 months pp, after we introduced solids and went from 0-2 night feeds. I did have pp bleeding a couple of months after delivering, which was not typical AF bleeding and only lasted a day or two.

I got AF back at 5.5 months postpartum, and that's with breastfeeding 2-4 times at night and on demand during the day. I was hoping it would be a one off, I hear of a lot of women that get one bleed and then nothing again for a long time. I ended up getting my second AF about 6 weeks after the first, so I think she is here to stay.

I feel your pain. Mine returned at 5 weeks pp, both times. And I was bf'ing, co-sleeping, baby wearing.... :/

Babyjan I had a few days bleeding around 8 weeks pp and was certain it was a period but then nothing since! I have done a test as well which was negative so I'm not sure what it was!

Mine came back at 6 weeks. Second came at 12 weeks and they have been in a regular(ish) cycle of coming every 24-28 days ever since ... mostly every 24 days. Exclusively breast fed until weaning started, still only on breast for milk. Just shy of 8 months old now. He still feeds 9 times per 24 hours, thru day and night. So, going by all theories, I shouldn't even be having periods yet.

I had 2 random days of bleeding at 29 days PP so thought it was my period. Still no clue why I had that bleeding. I stopped bleeding after the birth at 2ish weeks. More than a week of it was only spotting so had well and truly ended the bleeding!
