3 or more of the same gender??

Just wanna see how common it is to have 3 pregnancies each the same gender? I have two boys and I'm a little scared of not having a girl as this is our last attempt.

I don't personally have three(just working on #2, and my DH is certain it will be a boy) but I do have a cousin who has three boys and a friend who has 4 girls, so it definitely can happen But I hope you get your girl! That's what I'm hoping for, but with the number of boys in my family, it's not as likely.

It really depends on the family. Boys are much more prevalent on DH side. Out of 18 grand kids, only 5 are girls. If DH side has significantly more one than the other, it might make a difference.

I know two ladies that have three boys and one that has four boys. My mum had four girls and my OH is one of three boys lol. I read somewhere once the more of one gender you have the higher likelihood the next will be that gender. Don't know how true that is though

I have two girls and now having a boy. I think things like timing dtd with ovulation are a factor, but mainly it's random.

Each new baby is a fresh 50/50 probability so it's totally possible to have tons of the same gender.

I have two girls and totally expected this baby to be a girl too. I'd even bought a "little sister" sleep suit a few days before our gender scan I was THAT sure! but nope...definitely a boy in there!

I'd like to think that when we dtd and ovulation was a factor in it as I know we werent ttc #1 and Im sure that we dtd way before ovulation, with #2 we were ttc all month and dtd more or less 3-4 days a week from when AF ended so I believe there would have been more girl sperm already likely waiting for the egg when I ovulated. This time we dtd once, the night before/day of ovulation so going by theory boy sperm would have reached the egg faster than the girl sperm and is indeed a boy!

3 living girls and one Angel girl. Due to hubbies work environment we have girls. In his line of work their is a high incidence of girls.

I have 2 girls and when we decided to ttc our third we agreed it didn't matter what we had, although I deep down wanted another girl.

We found out at our scan that we are indeed having our third girl!!!

So for us, we've had 3 of the same. I have 5 sets of friends who have 3 children. 3 of them have 3 girls, 1 has 3 boys and the other couple has 2 girls and a boy. I think it's just luck.

My midwife did say that supposedly you're more likely to get the same 3rd time, but after your third it sort of 'resets' and you've got the same chance 4th time to get the opposite gender. I doubt there's much truth in that though

I don't personally believe it has anything to do with timing of dtd.

With my first we just dtd every other day as I didn't track ovulation so just wanted to cover all bases.

With my second we just dtd every other day from day 14 onwards.

Then this time I got my smiley on my ovulation test and had dtd the day before, dtd that day of the smiley face, and the day after. That was it.

So right on top of ovulation, and they would say that that would be more likely to get us a boy, but we're definitely having a girl!!
