My boy is three weeks old today and he's having the same amount as yours but more like every two hours, sometimes three at a push but never four hours - I wish!
I swear it seems like he's the slowest eater and doesn't eat very much at a time. Doing the math he's supposed to eat 20oz a day, but he only eats about 16 oz. Doctor says he's perfectly fine for weight gain, so I guess that's good. Just seems that everyone on this site has super hungry babies. Wish that was my problem!
My daughter is 2 weeks old and she eats 3oz every 3/4 hrs. She was a big baby though so i suppose her appetite will be bigger than most her age. They recommend 2oz for each lb your baby weighs over the course of a day, as a rough guide. So my baby weighed 9lb 6 so i worked out that she needs roughy 18oz of milk in 24hr period, spread over 6 feeds makes 3oz a feed. Seem to work for me x
