Hi ladies, i am new to this site and looked up some posts already, but i wanted to tell my story and see if there is any hope.

My husband and i have been TTC for 3 years now.. In the beginning of the year (2013) we have finally decided to got to a fertility doctor. In May i got the HSG test done which my tubes were fine. I did have ovulations issues though ( i didn't ovulate ). I was put on Clomid in June from CD5-9 50mg.. there was no detection of ovulation. I was then put on 100mg the second month, and that detected ovulation but a FSH level of 12.2 which my doctor said is elevated. I then did clomid one more time in August. I ovulated but no pregnancy. :(

I was sent to an RE doctor just last month and we were offered clomid+ IUI or clomid+ timed intercourse again and Femera+IUI or Femara+timed intercourse. We have chosen to do Femara 5mg with TI. We are hoping that this works for us before we decide to go to further treatment and start the IUI.

Has anyone had a FSH level of 12.2 and still concieved? Does anyone has a success story of Femara working and not clomid? It's been 3 years to long and it's killing me waiting. :?::?:

Welcome to the site. I dont have a success story yet but i do feel your pain. We have been TTC for nearly 3 years too, my last FSH was 14 and the OH has a below average sperm count so numbers are going against us. Unfortunately i had my first failed ivf last month but we are looking to go again in the new year. One of the lovely ladies on the assisted conception tread had ivf at the same time with same FSH and hers worked so there is hope.

I truly believe that i will be a mother one day, when i dont know but you just have to keep the faith, support each other and fight hard.

I find this site really helpful there are so many of us going through the same thing and you hear some wonderful success stories. Stay strong and wishing you all the luck.
